Re: East-west traffic network filter
Hi Ales,
I would like to prevent the guests from different subnets start a
communication. In other words I have the subnet 192.168.1.0/24 and
192.168.2.0/24 and the guests from 192.168.1.0/24 cannot reach/talk with
guests on 192.168.2.0/24 at the same host. Is this possible using a filter
like yours?
Thank you.
Thiago.

East-west traffic network filter
Hello,
I would like to make filter that allows communication only between
specified VMs. Those VMs should be specified by their MAC address. The
filter should extend clean-traffic but I was not able to get it working
with that reference. I have came up with modified clean-traffic which works
fine [1]. Is there a way to achieve the same behavior with reference to
clean-traffic?
Thank you.

Restricting logins to certain clients
I run samba-3 as PDC for a small domain with 4 clients. User
A should be allowed to login on all client machines, while
logins for the privileged user B should be restricted to 2
machines for security reasons. Any ideas how to manage
that? Suggestions for further reading would be highly
appreciated?

plot.mob() fails with cut() error "'breaks' are not unique"
DeaR all,
I am using mob() for model based partitioning, with a dichotomous variable (participant's correct/incorrect response to a test item) regressed onto a continuous predictor related to a given property of the test item. Although this variable is continuous, the value of this variable for many items in this particular analysis is 0. The partitioning criterion is self-reported ability in

Missing vnet interface in migration
Hi,
in oVirt we have come across issue with a missing vnet interface (Original
bug report [0]). This happened once in a huge batch of migrations e.g 2
failed out of 1200 and we came to conclusion that this is happening
somewhere out of our control as libvirt reports:

about this and I did all as is written in this documentation. Even the
same example is here which I need for my project.
I want create (by means of GRE tunneling or IP in IP tunneling) virtual
private network VPN - in first phase without IPsec in other phase with
IPsec.
I have two local networks distant apart with two routers.

Asterisk 1.4.2 connection to Nortel CS1000M -followup with log
Here is the CS1000 log. Again, the CS1000 using SIP accepts incoming calls just fine.
However, using outgoing call files the CS1000 is hanging up after I answer the call.
I dont know why?
Thanks, for any assistance.

Riello patch and examples (was: Nut-upsdev post from e.parisi@riello-ups.com requires approval)
Hi Elio,
once more, your email was blocked due to the 40 Kb limits...
note that here, NUT Monitor screenshots were not needed. upsc output is
sufficient.

I'm forwarding Marco's msg to the list, since it's really too big, and
embeds upsc/upsrw/upscmd binaries!
cheers,
