res_config_mysql - maximum field length for appdata
Hello list, as I am trying to write a complex macro for my users i have the problem, that the appdata field in the extensions table is to small for all my macro parameters. I am using the DB definition from http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+RealTime+Extensions so appdata is limited to 128 characters. And I would prefer some more ;) After looking around in res_config_mysql.c I did

postscript: can't center plot
One of our color postscript printers needs a slightly larger margin than the default, so I'm trying to send slightly smaller graphics to it, but all the extra margin I provide ends up at the right and bottom of the page. These are the relevant (I imagine) ps.options: $paper [1] "special" $width [1] 10 $height [1] 8 $pagecentre [1] TRUE I tried this on two systems, in

2.8.0 roadmap
Dear NUT developers and contributors, time has come to shed more light on 2.8.0 roadmap! Ubuntu Developer Summit attendance has helped to clarify things. several of 2.8.0 tasks are detailed here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ServerOneiricInfraPower I'm conscious that our development infrastructure (Alioth) is not that suitable to track roadmaps, "Agile" specs and developments, as we do

To be honest, the install process for the GUI is pretty much "install the distro package", due to the additional dependencies. Should List be Moderated?
In light of recent flame baits and advertisements sent to the list, I would like to seek opinions of list members on making the list moderated. I certainly don't have time to moderate the list myself, so I would suggest giving at least a half dozen, maybe more, people the ability to approve posts to keep it flowing quickly. Moderators would be asked just to approve/disapprove based upon a

NUT testing for v2.8.3 (hopefully imminent)
I took v2.8.3-rc in git, bootstrapped autoconf, build, make check, make dist, (on NetBSD 10) and then used that tarball as the source for pkgsrc, built a package, installed it on machine with a Best Fortress (NetBSD 9), rebooted, and both upsc and a program that uses the pyNUT interface code seem fine. So I see no problems. (Of course, I always like there to be a multiday interval from rc to

Sounds great, thanks! A number of other community members raised a few issues from the RC testing that finally took off, so I guess there will be an rc3 at least... There may also be some issues with upssched as discussed in another mailing list thread and https://github.com/networkupstools/nut/issues/2890 (may be or not be same problem underneath) but I am not ready to investigate that deeply.

Dear All, I am using R to do my work and thank you very much for developing, maintaining and making such excellent software available to anyone that is interested enough to ask for it. I have registered at Nabble. I was wondering the right forum for me to send my help request. I have tried sending to R-help at r-project.org. However, I do receive a kind of warning email stating that my email
