Driver for Tripp Lite SmartPro SLT
I have a new SMART1050SLT Tripp Lite UPS that both tripplite and tripplitesu drivers hate. Both simply time out with a "can't find" message. Does anyone know about the SmartPro series?

I have 2 SmartUOS1050SLT's that apparently protocol 3004, has there been any progress on getting these units supported under nut? I am running version 2.4.1, and get the following output when starting the driver. #lsusb Bus 005 Device 002: ID 09ae:0001 Tripp Lite # upsdrvctl -DDDD start Network UPS Tools - UPS driver controller 2.4.1 Starting UPS: tripplite exec: /lib/nut/tripplite_usb -a

Tripp light driver?
Hey, I am wondering if anyone gotten nut to work with a Tripp Light Smart Pro 2U Rack/Towers (SMART2200RMXL2U). If so which driver did you use, or what driver do you think I should try? Also when trying use a nut driver, do you have to be a nut user? Thanks, Ricky -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Anyone still have a Tripp-Lite 3004-protocol USB UPS?
I was cleaning up some digital detritus when I ran across an old SVN branch for the proprietary Tripp Lite 3004 USB protocol (the non-PDC variety). It looks very similar to the binary 3005 protocol, which has been added to NUT, but I'd like to have someone sanity-check things before we claim compatibility. Any volunteers? I'm not sure what models this covers, except maybe the

The dreaded Tripp Lite SMART500RT1U and NUT
<nut-upsuser at lists.alioth.debian.org> I am doing my best to avoid have to spend $280 for a network monitoring card to put into a $190 UPS just to have some good remote monitoring capabilities. Rather, I would like to monitor my many 1U Tripp Lite's on my network using a Raspberry Pi running Raspian and using NUT. However, I cannot seem to get it working. And I while the hardware

Tripp Lite SMART2200RMXL2U and Fedora Core 6 (NUT 2.0.3)?
Hi, I'm running Fedora Core 6 and need to monitor a Tripp Lite SMART2200RMXL2U. I've loaded the nut-2.0.3-2.1 RPM. The UPS is connected via the provided USB cable, and that much appears to work: # dmesg | grep -i tripp hiddev96: USB HID v1.10 Device [Tripp Lite TRIPP LITE SMART2200RMXL2U ] on usb-0000:00:1f.4-2 # lspci | grep -i usb 00:1f.4 USB Controller: Intel Corporation 82801BA/BAM

Tripp Lite OMNIVS1500XL Unknown protocol
Good afternoon, I'm trying without much success to monitor a Tripp Lite OMNIVS1500XL using NUT. I checked the compatibility list and saw that this UPS is supported by tripplite_usb. The system is running Debian Stable, but I've downloaded NUT 2.0.3 and compiled from source since the packaged 2.0.1 doesn't include tripplite_usb. I compiled --with-user=nut. My first attempt at

Tripp Lite SmartPro SMX500RT1U incompatibility
Greetings to all, I recently connected a Tripp Lite SMX500RT1U unit to a Synology NAS (basically a Marvell ARM equipped box running a custom 2.6.24 Linux). I tried using the tripplite_usb driver contained in nut 2.4.1 with not much luck. It does read the model ID and VA rating properly, but fails at everything else - mains voltage (this is a 230VAC EU model), battery config, unit status etc.

Hello, I have a TrippLite SMART1500RMXL2U that I'm trying to get running with Nut 2.2.1. I have a Tripp Lite OMNI900LCD. It has a usb connector and claims to be USB/HID. I haven't been able to get it to work with newusbhid or tripplite_usb. no serial number for Tripp-Lite SMART3000RM2U?
I'm trying to set up a single host to monitor the state of several UPS in my data center. I have a mix of several APC and Tripp-Lite in production. The former are great, the latter are not so much. With the APCs (using usbhid-ups), I can set up configs for each based on the value they report from ups.serial. With the Tripp-Lites (using tripplite_usb), there is no value returned for

Tripp Lite SMART3000RM2U (protocol 3003) running time and charge?
Hello, I own an older Tripp Lite SMART3000RM2U (protocol 3003). It does not work with usbhid-ups but it mostly works with the tripplite_usb driver (nut 2.7.1, the latest in the Gentoo tree), in the sense that the status (on line, on battery, etc.) is detected correctly, the machine is shut down on critical battery, and I can even get some information from the UPS. This is how it all looks:

Tripp-Lite INTERNET525U
Test machine: Windows 7 Pro x64, NUT 2.6.5-3 UPS model: Tripp-Lite Internet Office UPS (INTERNET525U) I needed a UPS and I had this old, but lightly used Tripp-Lite in storage. On the compatibility list I see a (?similar?) INTERNETOFFICE700 using the tripplite_usb driver. But the driver is not liking this particular model that I have. I'll be receiving a 3S550 soon, so I'm not

Tripp-Lite OMNI750ISO
Got one of these up and running with the tripplite_usb driver on Ubuntu Server 12.04 x64. This particular model has product code 0x1000. Setup and installation was pretty standard. The only hiccup was I had to create a udev rule to give the nut group access to USB devices. If anyone has any questions let me know. Here's what I am got back from the upsc command: battery.charge: 100

Tripp-Lite OMNI650LCD
Hello all; I am new to this list. Recently we have been getting these cheap new Tripp-Lite "LCD" style UPS'es around here, and I was surprised to find the lack of Linux support. The model name is OMNI650LCD. Anyway, I tried the tripplite_usb driver and got a message instructing me to contact this mailing list. I might try to fix the problem myself, if I was more familiar with the

Tripp Lite SU5000RT3U
Hi, I am trying to configure my Tripp Lite SU5000RT3U on Ubuntu 18.04 as I am not able to completely get all the data from the UPS. After installing all required packages from the Ubuntu repos (had to run sudo apt-get install dkms, I had to install the displaylink drivers from displaylink.org by doing sudo ./displaylink-driver-4.2.29.run, and I created a sim link by doing the following: sudo ln

TrippLite SmartPro and 2.0.3
I'm running Ubuntu 5.10, featuring a patched kernel 2.6.12. I have a Tripp Lite SmartPro SLT ups connected via USB. I have cleanly compiled and installed the new nut 2.0.3. I do have the "extras", like libusb, installed too. I need some USB advice- that is, I'm not sure what a normal baseline should look like. At boot, the modules usb_core and uhci_hcd are loaded. dmesg
