Upssched 100% CPU after updating Debian 12
Hi,
I have been running nut successfully for a long time with my Debian 11 server. I upgraded my server to Debian 12 today, which upgraded nut also from 2.7.4-13 to 2.8.0-7. I noticed that after upgrade there was a upssched process running and taking 100% cpu time.
I checked if there were any changes to configuration file formats with nut upgrade and only differences I noticed were a terminology

Hello all,
I'm having problems with what I'm told should be a straightforward

The message in /var/log/daemon is:

The system doesn't shutdown
P.S.2
Today I experienced something weird. As I was working, the system started a
shutdown and did shut down, then the UPS got powered off and then back on -
an expected behavior for a power fail situation. However there was no power
failure!
I ran nut-journal to check what happened:

Newpoint 200897 UPS
I got sick & tired of constant power outages with no warning, so when I
saw various UPSes at the store, I decided to get one, and the one I got
was a model 200897 from Newpoint (a.k.a. Power Sentry). A couple of days
later the power went out and I decided to use the opportunity to hook up
the UPS. I added up the wattages of the equipment I would be connecting,
and found that the only way I

"Master privileges unavailable on UPS" after upgrade to Debian Lenny
Hi all,
I've just upgraded my debian box from etch to lenny, and am now having
Nut problems. I have read through the UPGRADING text (which helped
fixed my first ups driver related problem), but have now hit another
problem, which seems quite common, but non of the responses I've found
on Google apply, so I'm coming to you for help.

Mr Claesson,
with my current configuration, the ups.status when the UPS is disconnected from the mains is "OB". There is no more "OB BOOST". Now my upsd.users is:

allowfrom = localhost
upsmon master
actions = SET
instcmds = ALL
and upsmon.conf is:
RUN_AS_USER root

How do I disable messages from upsmon?
I've followed the config setup docs and also the excellent guide from Roger Price.
I'm using openSUSE 13.1 and built NUT 2.7.2 from the sources (latest stable).
I'm hooked up to a dummy UPS that basically just cycles from fully charged down to about 20% discharged. I was pleased when I started seeing the messages on my screen indicating the UPS was online or on-battery. Given how

Advice Partner PRPC650 - no serial device
Good day!
I'm struggling to connect by Advice Partner PRPC650 UPS to Nut. The
UPS uses USB for communication and the current problem is that serial
device (/dev/ttyUSB*) is not detected. OS is Debian Lenny (same
behavior on Ubuntu Hardy).
Did anyone have any success with this UPS? Here is what my dmesg and
udevmonitor say (on Debian):
