powercom UPS shoutdown discussion
Thank you for your response.
The point is that I have configured my system to shut down at the event "upsc Inform@localhost ups.status"!="OL", not at "LB". So there will be no /etc/killpower file created. At an ups.status != "OL" event, the following script named "notifyme" is run:
echo `date` >> /root/upsLog
echo " No power, shutting

Mr Claesson,
with my current configuration, the ups.status when the UPS is disconnected from the mains is "OB". There is no more "OB BOOST". Now my upsd.users is:

allowfrom = localhost
upsmon master
actions = SET
instcmds = ALL
and upsmon.conf is:

Powercom issues in NUT (was: PowerCom BNT2000AT ups on nut 2.6.0 - second try)
Dino, Alexey,
there are a number of users suffering issues with your Powercom devices.
Could you (Dino, and Keven if possible) please have a look at the below one,
from Angela, and check for a fix?
I've scheduled to release 2.6.1 next week, and having that fixed is part of
the list.

NUT and POWERCOM SMART KING
Hi Alex,
I've forwarded your request to the nut-upsuser mailing list.
Please follow the discussion there.
I'm also not sure to have well understood your issue.
Don't hesitate to explain it a bit more if I'm wrong...

Config for powercom 2200
Hey all,
I've tried some very base configs with the powercom 2200, but I can't seem
to get it to work. Has anyone dealt with these UPSes before, or know if
they use the standard powercom drivers?
I'd be more than happy to allow access to my test system so someone more
knowledgeable can take a look (and am also willing to pay something for
the solution of said problem.)

AVRX750/500 issues
I wouldn't be surprised if they both use the same driver. I think they are essentially the same model, but with one having a slightly larger battery. My issue is primarily with the UPS turning back on after having shut off like it should. @Scott Colby if you take a look at the config files I posted in the github issue I created, perhaps that will give you some hints on your issue. No subject

be cut by the UPS, either because of a low battery event or a user
initiated shutdown (with delay) command. The thing I don't like about
that, is that by that time the shutdown sequence has apparently already
started by the UPS, which means that we have no control over when the
power will be cut.
Also, if it indeed only

UPSLog rotating
Hi,
Trying to rotate the ups.log on a FreeBSD 7.0 system
and its not being nice about it.
I tried the "quick and dirty" way by doing :
mv /var/log/ups.log ${DATEDDIRECTORY}/ups.log
kill -1 `cat /var/db/nut/upslog.pid`
I get :
Sep 17 10:57:20 valhalla upslog[81972]: could not reopen logfile /var/log/ups.log: Permission denied
So I stop upslog, remove the file, and start it

Issue with slave FSD notification on Windows port of NUT
I have the latest version of the Windows port of NUT installed on my Windows?7?machine. The UPS is connected via serial cable to the Windows machine. I also have my Synology NAS (which uses NUT) connected over the local network as a slave to the Windows NUT master. The Synology slave is configured to immediately go into "safe mode" whenever an FSD or OB+LB indication is received from the
