I have a flash memory stick that is formated with ext3 file system. NOw, there is an application on it that I would like to copy to another memory stick. I can copy it, but when I do so, that application does not work properly (it won't start - boot problem???). Is there a tool that can copy an entire content from one flash stick to another? Thanks!!! -------------- next part --------------

APC BR1500LCD
Hi gang, I have the APC BR1500LCD [1] and would like to know if NUT can handle it. The compatibility list [2] does not show it but I thought that perhaps it would fit in as some other unit. Does anyone else have this unit? [1] http://www.apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=BR1500LCD [2] http://www.networkupstools.org/compat/stable.html -- /jm

2.6.31.4: Any other suggestions regarding a UPS/USB (APC1500VA) on (Intel P55KG) stale issue?
Hello, Problem: When I migrated from a DG965WH -> DP55KG motherboard, there were quite a bit of issues, host still does not reboot without special flags, e.g. reboot=a, the NIC driver is broken with the in-kernel version (the one on e1000.sourceforge) fixes that and finally my UPS USB has driver stale problems, with two issues already relating to the HW/drivers themselves it would not be

Timers fireing too early
Hi all, I've not been able to find the answer to my timer problem in the faq or the archives. (or google) Basically, I can't get timers to fire. They fire ignoring the timer value, as if the timer was set to 0. I'm using the OpenFiler distribution, patched to the latest and greatest. upsmon 2.2.2 When I pull the power plug, I see the text "Im In Battery" instantly, instead

[UPS on Serial vs. USB] USB slow to update, serial instant.
When I disconnect my UPS from the wall, I have to wait 15-30 seconds before the USB drier 'polls' this information and tells me that the UPS is on battery power (via knutclient or syslog via nut): ups@p34 POWER ALERT on Fri Jan 26 12:49:29 EST 2007 With a serial connection, I would get the alerts IMMEDIATELY (0.5-1 seconds) after disconnecting the UPS. Samba 3.0.10 - Error With Latest Win2K Patches
When Microsoft released their 8-9 new patches this week, around Tuesday, 02/08/05; I can no longer copy files to any of my samba shares. Before Microsoft's patches, everything worked OK; I have multiple Linux SAMBA servers and two separate Windows 2000 Professional SP4 machines; each were patched. Trying to connect to any of the Samba servers I am running Samba 3.0.10 with Debian Sarge

belkin-hid: UPS.PowerSummary.BelowRemainingCapacityLimit
Peter, Apparently, some Belkin UPSes still have problems with this. When we receive this report through the interrupt pipeline it is ignored (the special case in usbhid-ups.c) and even after that it looks like there are still some problems with it: http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/nut-upsuser/2007-July/003014.html Wouldn't it be an option to just to ignore this completely and

Belkin F6H650 on USB port
Hi, is there a way to use my Belkin F6H650 on the USB port? I already installed usbhid-support, but neither the hidups worked (reports "/dev/usb/hiddev0 is not a UPS") nor genericups with upstype=7 and the hiddev set as device ("ioctl TIOCMSET: Invalid argument") worked. I have installed the debian sarge package of nut 2.0.1 (2.0.1-4) Regards, Philipp
