mge galaxy 6000 three-phase supported or not?
hi @ all,
i just wonder, if it is posible to read the values for all the three phases of
a mge galaxy 6000 ups?
we have unfortunately one mge comet ups (one phase) to play at work, but it is
important to know, how many information upsc can deliver from a galaxy. we
plane to use web / snmp interface.
can someone post the upsc from such ups?
thanks in advance,
miroslav

MGE UPS Comet EX RT 7 not setting LB
Hi,
I just got at work an MGE UPS Comet EX RT 7 and I can communicate fine
with it through mge-shut, it detects correctly when on battery.
I am using Nut 2.0.3 on Linux (RHEL 3).
I am trying to simulate a low battery condition to test my shutdown
procedure by setting lowbatt to 98%:
driver.parameter.lowbatt: 98
but the ups reaches this value, goes to 97% and still no LB.
I tried to change,

MGE Comet EX 11 RT frequency display (cosmetic)
Hi everyone,
We just got an MGE Comet EX 11 RT with extra battery (all 250kg of it..) and I
have talked to it with NUT. One thing I see is the frequency..
input.frequency: 500
output.frequency: 500
It appears to be in tenths of a Hz vs Hz as I see on a Pulsar Extreme.
I'm using NUT 2.0.3 on FreeBSD 6.1
Thanks.

Small question on the snmp-ups module
Hi,
Our research group is planning to buy an MGE Pulsar Evolution 3000 to protect
our operational computers against power failures with an SNMP network
management card. We would like to connect the UPS only through its network
card (and not via USB or serial cable to another computer) and install the
NUT software (client+server) on each machine to catch the shutdown SNMP
signal from the UPS

Hello Kim,
First, I've forwarded your mail to the nut user mailing list.
Thanks to register there (https://alioth.debian.org/mail/?group_id=30602)
and we'll follow on the thread on it.

New default for SNMP and USB (and HAL) compilation

I'm working on integrating the preliminary HAL support, and thought a
bit about the default configure values below:

--with-usb build and install USB drivers (no)
[ --with-hal build and install HAL support (no) ]
I wonder if some auto detection magic (if the requirement is present

NUT-2.0.3 - problems on setting values
Hello,
we have a MGE Pulsar Evolution 800 connected to a Fedora Core5 Server
using a serial cable.
Installed and configured properly are RPM versions of
nut-2.0.3-0.1.fc5
nut-client-2.0.3-0.1.fc5
nut-cgi-2.0.3-0.1.fc5
which all work (mostly) fine.
The server is connected to outlet.0 and properly shuts down when it's
loosing power after around 20 minutes. It also boots up whenever the ups
