[LLVMdev] AArch64 Full bot
Hi Gabor, It seems the linker is playing tricks on the full bot: http://lab.llvm.org:8011/builders/clang-native-aarch64-full Sometimes it works by cleaning the stage2 dir completely, but there may be some extra bits that we're not considering. However, I can't see why any of the commits on the first failure did anything to the relocations on AArhc64... cheers, --renato

[LLVMdev] Some MCJIT XPASS and one FAIL on Linux ARMv7
Hi, I've got the same 4 unexpected passing tests on the AArch64 buildbot. I checked the buildbot logs and before these tests started to fail all MCJIT tests were unsupported. I think that maybe this commit - http://llvm.org/viewvc/llvm-project?revision=193459&view=revision <http://llvm.org/viewvc/llvm-project?revision=193459&view=revision> caused the issue but I'm still

Samba Folder Redirection
Hi, I have a samba 4 AD setup and I am using a GPO for folder redirection as stated here: https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Configuring_Windows_Profile_Folder_Redirections_with_Group_Policy I am able to redirect folders such as Desktop, Documents, etc but I am trying to redirect AppData and it will not work. When I try setting that, when a user logs on it will just sit at the signing in screen

Questions about code-size optimizations in ARM backend
Hi All, I started to work on code-size improvements on ARM target by comparing GCC and LLVM generated code. My first candidate was switch-case lowering. I also created a Bugzilla issue for this topic: https://bugs.llvm.org/show_bug.cgi?id=34902 The full example code and the generated assembly for GCC and for LLVM is in the Bugzilla issue. My first idea was to simplify the following

Interesting problem with samba and .ntprofile
To ANYONE that can help :), we where using samba version 2.0.7 and everything worked great. we just upgraded to version 2.2.7a. and now we get this weird/wicked problem. sometimes when a user logs out and then trys to log back in it says "//servername/.ntprofile/share/file" cannot be copied over. i can delete the file and then another file cant be copied over. i at times cant delete

PGO question
Hi, I have a question regarding PGO. I collected profile data with the instrumentation build (-fprofile-instr-generate) and provided for PGO optimization in the second build (with -fprofile-instr-use=xxx.profdata). This works fine. Then I tried to provide the profile data to opt using the option -pgo-instr-use, but this causes an error with the message: "Not an IR level instrumentation

[LLVMdev] instprof tests down in ARM build
A few weeks ago, I started seeing 6 tests start failing in the Profile test suite of the ARM Linux build. Anyone else seeing this? They all fail with similar output: Command Output (stderr): -- compiler-rt/test/profile/instrprof-write-file.c:13:12: error: expected string not found in input // CHECK: br i1 %{{.*}}, label %{{.*}}, label %{{.*}}, !prof !1 ^ <stdin>:6:17: note:
