A couple of problems with scale plugin
I'd like to point out a couple of problems regarding the scale plugin: I
use it showing the application emblem on the lower right corner, and
with the shiver focus effect and sloppy focus activated.
Well, whenever you select a window (either through the keyboard or
sloppy focus) the app emblem gets smaller for a second and moves to the
center of the window, then returns to its expected size

Scale & Wobbly bug
Hi. Most of you might not have noticed this bug:
I have Shiver as focus effect, set for normal windows too. This way,
whenever I select a window it "bounces" to the front. Quite pleasant,
and it works while in scale mode too.
But scale gives a bug when focus effect and sloppy focus are activated:
the emblem icon changes its size and location (it gets smaller and moves
to the centre),

nautilus problem and smbclient question
Hi,
I'm having a problem getting smb to work through Nautilus and in trying to
diagnose the problem, I ended up with another problem with smbclient(1),
or more likely a misunderstanding on my part about how it is supposed to
work. I'm using the following packages on an up2date RH8.0 box.
# rpm -qa | grep samba
samba-common-2.2.7-2
samba-2.2.7-2
samba-client-2.2.7-2
# rpm -qa | grep

Problem compiling cairo-dock under CentOS 5.2
I am trying to compile cairo-dock from source (failing to find an existing
package for CentOS). I believe all dependencies are satisfied, but while
doing "make", at some point it says (I can provide the full make output if
it's needed):
gcc -g -O2 -o cairo-dock -Wl,--export-dynamic
cairo_dock-cairo-dock-callbacks.o cairo_dock-cairo-dock.o
cairo_dock-cairo-dock-dbus.o

How to replace application icon?
I've installed Tournament Indicator (poker hand analyser) but instead of the normal program icon, it has assumed the wine default wineglass icon. I know the location of the icon....so how do I assign that icon to the desktop?

Ogg icons / glyphs -- use of copyrighted images?
Do we have a standard icon and/or glyphs identified for GUI-based
applications?
I'm adding Vorbis support to CDMaster32 and I'm finding I'm in need of 17x17
glyphs (.bmp) to graphically show progress of OGG files.
Has anyone thought about this?
If not I was thinking of modifying/reducing the Xiphophorus "fish" logo to
use in my application; however, since the xiph www site

Color Coded Labels (Like OSX)
Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to do something similar to Mac OSX color label, where you can highlight a file or group of files and assign them a color, making different files more obvious. For example, my files which are finished with are colored green and those which haven't been worked on are red, etc. This means, even with files of the same type, I can clearly see which ones need

[LLVMdev] Problem migrating from llvm 2.9 to 3.0
Hello, I'm moving a compiler pass from llvm 2.9 to 3.0, and I'm getting
some strange extra store instructions when optimizing the code.
For example, in the code that is in the attachments (On block *for.body111* for
2.9 and block *for.body67 *for 3.0), the number of stores goes from 1 to
10. And since the compiler pass adds some verification code before each
store, this leads to some

[LLVMdev] [PATCH] -emit-bitcode-version
Hello,
We have a tool which reads in bitcode, processes it, and re-emits it. We use this tool as a flexible way to integrate our tool into the Xcode, Android NDK, Chromium, and Linux build process.
The problem we face is that bitcode changes, and when it does… future versions can read it, but past versions are left in the lurch. For instance LLVM 3.2svn can BitcodeReader from LLVM 3.1, but

[LLVMdev] Bug Report -- Possible optimizer bug with thread_local variables
Hello,
I apologize if this has already been fixed or reported. I believe there is
a bug in the way the optimizer deals with thread_local variables. The
attached program, test.c, has a thread-local variable "int Foo" and a
global variable "int *Ptr". The program takes the following steps:
1) The main thread spawns a new thread and waits
2) The new thread writes Foo = 50 and

[LLVMdev] How to get a custom type from ExecutionEngine::runFunction
I'm starting to work with custom types and wondering how I can
pass/return them via the ExecutionEngine? runFunction returns only a
GenericValue, so it appears somehow I must make use of its pointer member.
For example, how do call this function/type:
%struct.mine = type { i32, i8, float, double }
define void @make_struct(%struct.mine* noalias sret %agg.result, i32 %a,
i8 signext %b)
