[Rd] Re Bessel functions of complex argument
Dear all, I'm writing a code that requires Bessel functions with complex argument. Searching the list, I found the continuation of a thread I initiated a few months ago: http://tolstoy.newcastle.edu.au/R/e4/devel/08/03/0746.html As I understand, the most promising option would be to use the fortran or C implementation of Amos,

To the best of my knowledge and ability, I have searched and studied the R-help, R-sig-mixed models, and ADMB NBMM for R (through Otter Research Ltd) list servs; R help

recommanded way to restore objects from Deleted Objects
Hi everyone, in samba 4.5 changelog, it says that samba AD now supports tombstone reanimation. I've been used to ldbrename and ldbmodify to reanimate objects to keep objectSID, but if it is now officially supported, it would be better to use the proper way. Sysinternals tool adrestore [1] seems to be working properly (it does not restore most attributes, but this is expected since

schema enhancement recommandation?
Hi list, Im using Samba 4.x (x >=8) and Im excited about the new "samba-tool computer" simplification of computer managment in AD mode. Now I would like to use some more information tagsĀ  in the computer section, i.e. partition information or macadress of the nic. So I tried to enhance the schema (using 4.10.0pre1-GIT-8c00c017cb5) i.e. simple with >>> cat win.ldif dn:

Another newbie book recommandation question
I hope this question is sufficiently different from the other requests for book recommendations that it's not repetitious. If not, I apologize in advance. I'm curious what standard reference books working statisticians, or biostatisticians, have within easy reach of their desk. I'm a computer systems administrator, and have a two-foot bookshelf directory under my monitor that contains

[RFC] Mongrel Books Page?
There seems to be a bunch of books now that either mention Mongrel or focus on it or will focus on it. I''ve got my book, but the more books that people can easily get in as many languages as possible benefits Mongrel and everyone. Soooo, I''m gonna start a "Books" page that will list all the books that talk about Mongrel. Send me your book, a small abstract, and the

Two Linux books I recommend
I would like to recommend two (2) Linux books that might be helpful to some of the people reading this mailing list: (1) "Red Hat Fedora and Enterprise Linux Bible", by Christopher Negus.
