Call for GSoC 2020 projects
Hello David,
I believe Johannes already answered your questions, but just to
clarify the things fully: yes, we are going to submit an application
to participate in GSoC this year as usual. I will take care of
necessary paperwork and stuff.
Currently we're collecting the list of summer projects here and there.
It's perfectly fine to have the lists from sub-projects to be posted

Call for GSoC Projects
Dear All,
This year as usual we're going to apply for the participation in GSoC.
The students application window will start mid March. So, there is
some time to update Open Projects pages!
Please spend some time reviewing the project listed there and refine
them, if necessary. If you have some fresh cool project which you
expect to be suitable for GSoC and useful for the LLVM Project -

Call for GSoC Projects
Dear Anton,
Would it be alright to add a "Projects with LLVM" list to the Open
Projects page? Many of the projects that I have mentored in the past
and would like to mentor in the future make heavy use of LLVM even
though they don't contribute to the LLVM source base directly. I think
these projects are valuable to our community as they provide an
additional opportunity to

Prospective GSoC projects - 2019
Hi all
I'm a master's student from India. I'm very much interested in compilers
and infrastructure toolchains. I have been following llvm for past few
months, I like the scope of LLVM project and community behind it. I'm
hoping to participate in Google Summer of Code 2019 at LLVM. I have
intermediate knowledge of modern c++, boost libraries (proto, hana) and
basic knowledge

[LLVMdev] GSoC 2013
I'd like to see some ideas around improving the Microsoft ABI backend.
There are a lot of open bugs / work-in-progress patches in the tracker so
it would be nice to have someone fixing or bugs or cleaning the patches,
adding tests and sending them for review.

Exactly :)
But also some projects that was listed in GSoC 2017 was not undertaken by
any students last year. Will those projects can be included in GSoC 2018 ?
Many Organizations are including the projects which are not undertaken
previously in their GSoC 2018 projects list.
Thanks

[LLVMdev] GSoC project questions.
Hi,
I agree that creating a complete Fortran compiler is a huge effort.
But what about approaching it from a test driven development perspective?
We start with a few small Fortran programs as "test cases".
The GSoC task then gives the task as getting test case 1 to work.
We could also apply this of "lfort". Determine a test case that currently
fails on lfort, and ask the GSoC
