[LLVMdev] Redefining function
Just updated the source and now I get the unreachable error again. The JIT doesn't know how to handle a RAUW on a value it has emitted. UNREACHABLE executed at /home/conrado/engines/llvm/lib/ExecutionEngine/JIT/JITEmitter.cpp:1542! I think that it's not helpful now, but I can post the program, if you want me to. Great! It just worked. I was a bit worried about using pointers to call functions because it's a little too overwhelming in a big project, I think. Just for the record, if the function code isn't freed with freeMachineCodeForFunction, I get a segmentation fault during recompileAndRelinkFunction with this stack dump: Running pass 'X86 Machine Code Emitter' on function

[LLVMdev] MC to LLVM disassembler?
I'm wondering if anyone is working on a machine code -> LLVM bitcode disassembler? Obviously, there won't be a one-to-one correspondence but it seems like you should be able to get close. There's always inline asm for the remaining fragments. So is there such a thing? Thank you, Bob

Hm, I wonder if the error message for llvm_unreachable should change. I think I remember a couple people focusing incorrectly on the UNREACHABLE instead of the actual error message above it (which means it's our fault, not theirs). Hi, I recently downloaded and installed the libcpu package (from http://libcpu.org ) that uses llvm as the backend on my linux machine. I have a piece of Motorola 88100 code (essentially the output of the 176.gcc benchmark from SPEC CPU 2000) that I am trying to run using this emulator, but I am running into errors when trying to run it. Has anyone been able to successfully use the m88k

[LLVMdev] MC disassembler for ARM
Hi, I'm considering to use MC disassembler for ARM target in a binary translation project. However after trying some ARM binary and I find that there are a lot of instructions that the disassembler fails to to decoding.
