I used to be able to build LLVM (from source) under Cygwin for llvm-2.2 and previous releases, but can't continue the trend since the release of LLVM 2.3. Hello everyone. The bug in ld prevented release build of LLVM on Mingw & Cygwin is fixed by now. I know I can download http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/utils/boot/syslinux/syslinux-3.51.zip which contains a windows syslinux.exe compiled by mingw. My question is: is it possible to compile syslinux by cygwin? If so, how to? Thanks!

Vyacheslav, This is the same problem that I had with Cygwin .. nearly identical. The issue was documented in PR492 if you want some background. I'm currently trying to dig up what I did to fix this in December for Cygwin and see if I can apply the same change for mingw. Reid.
