Mac OS X - xmms plugin probs
Ok, it seems i had problems with stale stuff in there. I made clean
and started over. The first part now correctly says " remember to run
`libtool --finish /sw/lib'".
The xmms plugin now gives a different error:
/bin/sh ../../mkinstalldirs /tmp/sw/lib/xmms/Input
../../libtool-disable-static --mode=install /usr/bin/install -c

SHARC DSP
Anyone have any idea if the any of the Sharc or TigerSHARC DSPs are
powerful enough to do realtime Speex?

SHARC DSP
They claim to max out at 1,800 MFLOPs
And have a clock speed of up to 300 mhz.

Centos 7 kworker uses 100% of single core on mulit-core processor usage inquiry
Greetings again everyone.
Can someone please respond to this?
I am not sure what is causing this issue, however, others seem to have experienced it in the past.
Could this be caused by the processor being damaged?
Nothing has changed on the system, except for the heat warning shutoff when the water cooler died, and the system was not restarted until the new one was installed.
Any input

Are you kidding? Not only is this enough to encode/decode in real-time,
but you can probably do ~50 channels (or more) at the the same time.

Is there any reason you aren't using Sangoma cards?

High Performance graphics virtual environment: VGA Passthough or a VDI solution
Hello
Early this summer I made the decision to eliminate my Windows dual boot,
I rarely used windows. I have started a new job which will require
using a 3d CAD Inventor/Solidworks (Windows software). Inventor starts
in vmware workstation. I also switched from OpenSuSE to CentOS after
evaluating Ubuntu, RHEL, SLED, and Centos, I wanted a more proven
platform, less experimental stuff.
For the

So what's wrong with using DOS to update firmware? DOS is a small and simple program loader that's unlikely to require much in the way of hardware to work and is unlikely to be infected by a virus in today's

formatting tables with long column names via package:xtable within Sweave
Hi,
I use the excellent Sweave tools for writing documents
but was wondering how to neatly print a data.frame
with long column headings.
I cant manage to do this via package:xtable.
Typically the labels that I would like use
for each column consist of more than one word,
but even with just one word,
the heading is often wider than the contents of the column.
So the number of columns that fits

Newbie struggling with "factors"
I am processing some survey results, and my data are
being read in as "factors". I don't know how to
process these things in any way.
To start with, several of the survey questions are
mulit-choice check boxes on the original (web-based)
survey, as in "check all that apply".
These are encoded as numbers. For example, if the
survey has a question:
Which operating systems

Hint #1, to do any useful transformations on your variables you will
probably need to convert them temporarily into character variables (aka
strings). Do that with
as.character(n$OSUSE)
Probably your will want to convert each of the variables that are in this
format into a set of numeric variables. Something like this:
n <- data.frame(OSUSE =

mulit user system redirecting My Documents
New to wine here.
I installed wine, my application is working.
I allow all users to access "/usr/wine/.wine", I want to redirect
"/usr/wine/.wine/fake_windows/My Documents" to a $HOME/My Documents. Is
there a way I can do this? Is it as simple as adding a reg key?
Therefore when a user executes the windows app, and browses to "My
Documents" they see a folder in

You just posted yesterday...
Anyway, you didn't give much context. I can see from a google search
why you provided the interrupts output, but judging from what you
posted, that's not the problem.
Perhaps you have a CPU task that's running at 100%?
