[LLVMdev] LLVM SVN Repository Offline for Maintenance Tomorrow
Dear LLVMers and Clangers,
We'll be doing some maintenance on the LLVM repository on Tuesday, Sept.
14 (tomorrow). There were some files committed to the repository that
we believe need to be removed from both mainline, the branches, and the
revision history.
The SVN repository will go *off-line* at 7:00 am Central Daylight
Savings time on Tuesday. Please do not make any commits after

[LLVMdev] Emergency Reboot of llvm.org
Dear LLVMers,
I will be rebooting the LLVM server in 5 minutes (3:35 pm Central
Time). The system is experiencing unusually high load, no other
remedies have lowered the load, and we think a reboot will fix it.
Please make sure any commits to the LLVM repository are done within the
next 5 minutes.
Thanks, and sorry for the inconvenience.

Also, I managed to set things up so that you can use svn diff and svn up
but not svn commit (I basically disabled commit access for everyone for
the time being).

Windows binary for R 1.6.1 FIXED
To Windows R users:
The binary build of R that I uploaded on Tuesday contained errors in
the compiled HTML help files and some of the PDF versions of the
manuals. In particular, the index was missing from the CHM files, and
the table of contents was missing from at least one of the manuals.
I've since found the error in my setup, and have rebuilt the
distribution. I uploaded it to CRAN

EROR util/util_http_select_best Input string does not parse as KVA. Selecting first option.
Greetings,
I use Icecast for the live airing of my open phones podcast, and we've
recently had some trouble with malicious actors attempting to disrupt the
production in various ways, most of which are beyond the scope of this
inquiry.
Today the Icecast feed kept disconnecting and resetting the listener count.
This happens on rare occasions, and I usually accept this as a noisy

[LLVMdev] Power Outage at University of Illinois
Dear LLVMers,
There was a campus wide power outage today at the University of
Illinois. It took down most (if not all) computing services, including
the LLVM web/subversion server and the mailing list server.
Power has since been restored, and it appears that our IT department has
gotten the LLVM web and SVN server operating again (I went in earlier
this evening to see if the LLVM server

LNT Server offline
Hi,
So, I owe you all an apology. I was totally unaware that the llvm.org
server, running at UIUC, was still in operation and hosting an active LNT
instance. I was under the assumption the LNT server ran elsewhere. As a
result, the ability for the LNT bots to submit run information to the "old"
LNT server is now gone. I am very sorry for this oversight.
In speaking with Chris

[LLVMdev] LLVM SVN Repository Offline for Maintenance Tomorrow
Hi John-
Will this also mean a purging of the llvm-commits archive, to remove the diffs
with the guilty files in them?

[Hivex] OS X and iconv
Hi all,
The linking problem I found yesterday appears to be because of the built-in iconv in OS X. So, this is a request for patch or pointers: What needs to happen with configure.ac or the iconv.m4 macro file to link an iconv library _besides_ the one in /usr/local/lib? That's the tl;dr, full explanation follows.
That library lacks the x86_64 architecture:

[LLVMdev] Phabricator unreachable
Update for all:
Sorry for the disruption, it couldn't have happened at a worse time. I've
managed to figure out what happened and begin taking steps to correct
things despite vacation, travel, and the up-coming conference. I'm hopeful
that everything will be restored in the next day or two, and will remain
permanently working from there onward.

[LLVMdev] llvm bugzilla broken?
We have had some issues with commenting on bugs in bugzilla. I've attempted to determine the root problem but have been unsuccessful. We are due for an upgrade, so I'll be doing that this month and hopefully that will help this issue.
Sorry for the inconvenience and I agree its annoying.

Asterisk 1.2.0-beta1 tarball re-released
Due to a packaging error, the tarball released on Friday night did not
have a version number embedded in it, which results in various strange
build errors and other odd behavior.
The tarball on the FTP servers has been updated to correct this
situation. Sorry for the inconvenience :-)

Voicemail: afternoon audio file is missing
Dear all, I have Asterisk 1.4 and I'm using the voicemail feature. I
edit /etc/asterisk/voicemail.conf with "envelope=yes" and after that I
left a message in a given mailbox near 11:00 AM. When a dial the
voicemail number in order to hear the message, the Astreisk server close
the cal and I get this error from te CLI:

[LLVMdev] Phabricator unreachable
Apparently the domain entry for chandlerc.com has expired, and thus
phabricator is basically unable to work (as all mails bounce).
I'm trying to get in touch with Chandler to solve this as quickly as
possible.
Sorry for the inconvenience,

NTLMv2 compatibility in Samba 3.0.33 standard packages
Good afternoon/morning/evening everyone,
I've been running into
the problem of clients using Windows 7 with CentOS 5.X and file/printer
sharing. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the stand samba-3.0.33-x.x.x
packages DO NOT provide compatibility with Windows Vista/7. I've had to
manually compile samba from source or use the samba3x packages to fix
the problem. Just wondering if we're
