LibCallAliasAnalysis class instantiation parameter
Hello,
[sorry for the duplicate post, attempting to fix the formatting of the previous post]
Can anybody tell me the intent of the LibCallAliasAnalysis class? I see that to instantiate it, it requires a class derived from the pure virtual class LibCallInfo, but I cannot find any classes in the source tree that derive from LibCallInfo. Is this derived class intended to be supplied from a compiler

[LLVMdev] Forgot to add a header file to CodeGen.vcproj
Adding the different header files is not strictly required but certain
features (Search in solution for example) in VS work better when they
are there...

[LLVMdev] [Fwd: Updated LLVM Visual Studio project files]
Could someone please apply this patch to the Win32 support so that
Morten and Jeff can handle the recent changes? I can't do it because
I"m on the road with only email access.
Thanks,
Reid.

That is because the lib/CodeGen project file is missing PBQP.cpp.

[LLVMdev] building llvm on Windows
I tried to compile on Windows ( using the win32/llvm.sln in MSVC Express
2008 ) the new 2.3 branch and here are the results:
1. I needed to copy the file Configure.exe.embed.manifest to
Configure.exe.intermediate.manifest . This is a bug from the previous llvm
release (2.2)
2. I copied the file SimplifyLibCalls.cpp from lib/Transforms/Scalar to
lib/Transforms/IPO. I think the position of

[LLVMdev] Port to Solaris' Sun Studio 8
Well, line 364 wasn't actually what was holding me up, so it's a bad
example, but the problem's still relevant. Using cast<...>(iter),
dyn_cast<...>(iter), or isa<...>(iter) results in the error messages
mentioned below.

It would be great to get any windows improvements into the 2.3 release
if possible.

How to invoke simplifycfg from code
Simplifycfg doesn't get run by default even with -O3, but 'opt
-simplifycfg' can do it. I'm looking to add this functionality to an
optimizer program that uses the llvm libraries. What's the best way to do
this? I don't really mind whether it becomes available as a command line
option as in opt, or I need to hardcode it as always on.
To make it available as a command line

How to invoke simplifycfg from code
Okay, as far as I can see looking through the output of that, the empty
block isn't created near the end, it exists at the start and never goes
away.

That did not help, that cpp and its header do not contain
createPBQPRegisterAllocator anywhere in them. it was still missing
those files in the project though. What did fix it was adding in
RegAllocPBQP.cpp, so that file, and the PBQP.cpp/.h need
