Hi All, I'm working with llvm experimenting the rich frame work and learning the compiler behaviour. can any one help me a way to back port the solution files to VisualStudio 6.0 project files. It would help me a lot if some one can suggest some thing so that I can work on the current code. Thanks in Advance, -Vikas. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was

JGR/Deducer Installation
Hi, Sorry if this is to wrong mailing list. In that case, please point me to correct mailing list. Please also excuse rather long mail - I am not sure what piece of information would be useful for anybody who could help me. Couple of days back I had put a query about box-plots using GUI. I got some excellent suggestions. One of them was to use JGR/Deducer. It worked quite well for my needs.

VC6 Project file
The current VC6 project file is set to use the single-threaded C library in Windows. This causes crashed when it hits the (temporary) fprintf's in the library. Since using multithreaded libraries in a single threaded program does no harm and will do away with these crashes in multithreaded programs, I suggest that the VC6 file should be changed to use the multi-threaded libs. I'm not a

Cannot install Visual C++ version 6.0 (VC6)
I am using Ubuntu 8.10 and Wine 1.1.8 and installed VC6 from a folder VC6 copied from the installation CD. I clicked the setup.exe file in the VC6 folder and the first page of the VC6 installation wizard showed, but when I clicked 'Next' the install failed with message: "ken at ken-desktop:~/Desktop/VC6$ wine setup.exe wine: Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x00000000 at

win32 SDK call for help
Ok, so I've taken hold of this, and since this appears to be the only thing holding up 1.0.1, I have done what I think closes the loop...Based on the conversations here on the list I have made the following changes to the vc6 project files : - consistent runtime linking. They are ALL now using the Multithreaded static runtime. Hopefully this makes the generated DLLs the most portable. -

Compiling ogg lib on VC6...
Hi Kovacs, >subj. I can compile the library on vc6, but it seems that it doesn't >export anything. Has somebody similar experience? I've built it using VC6, though I didn't use the project files in the vorbis_vc6 subdirectory, so I can't comment on them. You should be building the library as a static library, and not a DLL -- if you want to build the library as a DLL,

[LLVMdev] Virtual Studio hack in APFloat.h
Hi all APFloat.h contains this code, which was required for Visual Studio builds. Given that this was committed in r41784 (2007), does anyone know if newer versions work? I think after moving to C++11 we’re on VS2013 at a minimum? I’d have hoped it would be more likely to work. Thanks, Pete /// What kind of floating point number this is. /// /// Only 2 bits are required, but

Enterprise quality SIP provider
I need to setup incoming (over an 800 number and some local DID's) and outgoing phone calls (all over the country) with an Asterisk server. This asterisk server has 20 Polycom 430 phones connecting to it. I need the best possible SIP provider out there. I have tried http://www.nufone.net and http://www.broadvoice.com and they do not even come close to the expected quality. Does AT&T

VC6 Project Files
The VC6 .dsp and .dsw files included with the distro of the Vorbis source has a few problems. Mostly, a few files are missing and cause unresolved symbols when attempting to link to the resulting vorbis.lib. There also exists a problem with linking to LIBC, that can cause multiply defined symbols in an application that attempts to use vorbis.lib. The attached .dsp and .dsw file fix these

Building LLVM with VisualStudio 2017
Hey Bjorn, Were you able to figure this out or is it still broken for you? Our scenario is a little bit different, but I have a theory as to what may be going wrong. What linker are you using when you compile your project with clang-cl? I am wondering whether the version of the linker and/or the libraries that you are using is too old in comparison to the one used for the clang compilation.
