[LLVMdev] Nightly Tester Volunteers
Dear All,
I need one or more volunteers to try out their nightly testers with the
-usesvn option. We're not running on here at the University of Illinois
regularly, so if someone could try one of theirs out before tomorrow
9:00 am CDT, I'd be very appreciative.
Thanks.

[LLVMdev] migration to SubVersion successful or delayed?
Dear All,
according to http://llvm.org/SVNMigration.html the repository migrated to SubVersion (svn)
on june 5th 2007 (almost 10 days ago).
Did the migration happened as expected?
http://llvm.org/releases/ still mention CVS, and nothing on http://llvm.org/docs/GettingStarted.html#checkout suggest to
switch to svn instead of cvs.
What is the current best way to download the latest snapshot:

The migration was delayed. The subversion software was supposed to be
configured this week by our IT department, but I have not heard from
them yet. I've fired off an email to see what the status

[LLVMdev] CVS Branches To Discard?
All,
We are considering removing some branches and tags in the conversion
process from CVS to SVN. We don't want to do this in a vaccuum, so
please read carefully.
A deficiency in the cvs2svn script causes it to bloat the Subversion
repository (significantly, as in 10x) in the conversion of branches and
tags. We can minimize the impact of this by only keeping branches and
tags that we really

[LLVMdev] NewNightlyTest.pl
All,
I've updated the NewNightlyTest.pl script again to fix a bug. If you're
running this script, please make a note of the following:
* There was a bug that only allowed the script to work with SVN if
the -verbose option was also given (yeah, go figure). That's
been fixed now.
* The script now defaults to checkout from subversion so there is

[LLVMdev] nightly tester setup
Hard to tell what's wrong. Perhaps /usr/local/bin is not part of path
for a cron job?
You should add NewNightlyTest.pl -noremove -release options. That
leaves the build directory around for you examine it afterwards. Just
manually delete the build directory before running NewNightlyTest.pl.

Hey
I would like to add the URL http://www.pool.ntp.org/ to the wiki entry

[LLVMdev] inconsistent use of LLVMGCCDIR?
The utils/NewNightlyTest.pl script seems to use LLVMGCCDIR in a way
that is inconsistent with the top-level configure script. I would
like to fix this but I don't want to break everyone's nightly tests.
Can someone review the attached patch to make sure I'm not missing
something?
The NewNightlyTest.pl script checks the LLVMGCCDIR environment
variable and uses it for two

[LLVMdev] nightly tester setup
I've noticed that my nightly tester doesn't seem to be reporting the
results of running llvm-test, only build warnings and make check.
Checking with -verbose shows that it's running the test suite, so I
don't quite understand what's going on. Looking at
http://llvm.org/nightlytest/ shows that none of the other Linux testers
are reporting test suite results either.

[LLVMdev] CVS Branches To Discard?
Reed,
Can the "see" branch be renamed "SVA", for Secure Virtual
Architecture? This is the new name of the LLVA system and project.
It uses LLVM as the instruction set and compiler infrastructure.
Thanks,
