There is a lot of research happening now on techniques to identify the best sequence of optimizations for a particular program, or just the best output form for the program. hi all, i surely overlooked something. but i am currently trying to do some benchmarking stuff with llvm. in my thesis i was using llvm-1.5 (i did some extension work, which i would have to frontport now). Hi Jackob, X86 / Darwin support is actively being worked on. It's very new which means you must check out the source from CVS and build your own binary. If you can live with the lack of vector support and the occasional bugs :-), I would urge you to do so and share us with your experience.
