Disappointed
Well, I have to confess that I am disappointed that in a fairly high volume
list like this, I haven't had one reply to the questions I've asked.
(I know I haven't got any right to expect a reply, but communities are usually
fairly helpful).
It might be really obvious to you guys, but if you have not a lot of
experience with ISDN/PBXs, it's hard to understand.
I'm going to

Is there a sexy way ...?
Admit it, Rolf. Haven't you wondered if S, in a more private way, is sexier than R?
OK, kidding aside, we have talked this to death.
Just FYI, the conversation was stimulating for some of us and I have continued on my own and located functions I see as useful in the stringi and stringr packages to make my silly version ever less silly! LOL!

Help request: Parsing docx files for key words and appending to a spreadsheet
Thanks Ivan and Calum
I continue to appreciate your support.
Calum, I entered the code snippet you provided, and it returns 'file
missing'. Looking at this, while the object 'full_filename' exists, what
is happening is that the path from getwd() is being appended to the
title of the article, but without the '/' between the end of the path

Help request: Parsing docx files for key words and appending to a spreadsheet
Hi Eric
Thanks for that. That seems to fix one problem (the lack of a
separator), but introduces a new one when I complete the function Calum
proposed:Error in docx_summary() : argument "x" is missing, with no default
The whole code so far looks like this:
# Load libraries
library(tcltk)
library(tidyverse)
library(officer)
filepath <- setwd(tk_choose.dir())

[LLVMdev] May 25th 2007 Developers Meeting (Update)
All,
Here's an update on the Developer's Meeting. I've created a page for the
meeting on the main web site at http://llvm.org/DevMtgMay2007.html. If
you want to find out the latest, please visit that page. From here on
out, I will be tracking the meeting's progress on that page. However,
I'll still send out one of these update notes when there are significant
developments.

For those of us unable to attend the meeting is there anyway that either the
meetings can be video'ed or audio recordings made and put on the web ?

PowerCut Killed R - is my code retrievable?
I've been tweaking code for several days on and off in R, cut and pasting in from a text editor (I just leave them open all the time). I think I got something that was usable but then a powersurge tripped the fuses and unfortunately the machine I was working on doesn't have a UPS.
Does R hold the command data in cache some place? I've purposefully not opened R since the crash so

Are you confirming Mark Thomas as attending then? Only attendees can get

Liability reasons because we serve alcohol at the reception. I can change to age if thats better or ask if someone is under 21 but you may still be asked show ID if a server is unsure.

Non-matching linkedid on CDR Records [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]
Hi asterisk-users,
We have recently moved to the 13.x branch of Asterisk from 11.x, and we're trying to correlate CDR records from multiple-legs for billing purposes.
As part of this change we have added 'linkedid' to our CDR table schema in an attempt to join the multiple records into one billable record.
The call path can be simplified as (transport types in brackets):

[PATCH] Replace pyxml/xmlproc-based XML validator with lxml based one.
Pyxml/xmlproc is being used in tools/xen/xm/xenapi_create.py but is
unmaintained for several years now. xmlproc is used only for validating
XML documents against a DTD file.
This patch replaces the pyxml/xmlproc based XML validation with code
based on lxml, which is actively maintained.

Kaplan Meier - not for dates
I have some data which is censored and I want to determine the median. Its actually cost data for a cohort of patients, many of whom are still on treatment and so are censored.
I can do the same sort of analysis for a survival curve and get the median survival... ...but can I just use the survival curve functions to plot an X axis that is $ rather than date? If not is there some other way to
