John, Thanks for responding. No, I don't see a limit from ulimit. It's definitely with the tblgen though, I have the same errors trying to compile clang. I'm trying to generate MipsGenAsmMatcher.inc for MipsAsmParser.cpp. What added restrictions for the .td file contents are there for tblgen -gen-asm-matcher?
