[LLVMdev] making cygwin nightly builds available?
Hi,
I'm looking into LLVM, and I must say it looks supremely cool. However,
I'm having a hard time getting anywhere with it, since I don't have a linux
machine here, and cygwin seems like a bit of a second-class citizen.
The instructions to build the cygwin binaries are outdated, so I have
to just make some guesses as to what the right thing to do is, and
I'm apparently not

[LLVMdev] making cygwin nightly builds available?
Hi Marshall,
LLVM *is* cool .. just not on cygwin! :)
Sorry for the sad state of the cygwin build. I had hoped to have it
cleaned up by now but many other things have been taking my time.
Although the build has been succeeding in recent days, I'm not sure it
will buy you anything. NONE of the nightly tests pass on cygwin. Until I
can get some time to figure out why that is happening, I doubt

[LLVMdev] binary release would be great
You know what I would really love? I set of pre-built
llvm binaries. Either for Windows or RedHat.
IIUC, the cygwin nightly build hasn't succeeded since
March, and the latest download on illuvium.net predates
that. I'd love to be able to try out 1.6, but having to build
my own compiler to build it is a substantial barrier. I know
there are binaries for the gcc frontend, which is cool,
but

coolest software ("coolest startups" re-asked)
Asked a little while back about "coolest startups" using Rails, I
think it''d have been better had I asked "coolest software." Besides
the obvious (37Signals, Typo, Yakima Herald, Odeo, Measure Map, etc.),
I''m just curious about other developments where people are using it to
make nifty stuff.

Hi all...
I have configure a Shorewall gateway to my little lan im my home.
The shorewall work fine here...
However, when I try to use Limewire, I can download nothing....
On fact, I can''t get any high connection on Limewire..
What can I do to make Limewire work properly behind a Shorewall
gateway????
May be I have to open all port (both tcp and udp), but how?
Thanks a lot...

coolest startup?
OK, general question for the community -- what''s the coolest startup
using Rails? I don''t think "37 Signals" is a fair answer. I''m curious
as to what kind of other developments are happening. Are there a lot
of startups using Rails in the first place? Or do most of you who are
lucky enough to do Rails for a living (I''m coding Java, bleah) work in

please help diagnosing "ip_conntrack: table full, dropping packet"
Hi,
I run a small system with an older version of shorewall (1.4.2). It has been extremely solid for a long time.
But recently I have noticed the connection table filling up, which has never happened before. My guess is that the box is getting hit with floods.
The system only has 64M of ram and the conntrack_max is set to 4096 based on the ram. I have temporarily increased it to 8192 so that it

DNAT or NAT - QUESTION
Hi, I have a simple question. I have my firewall with 2 external Ip and 1
lan.
For example
ISP1
FW LAN----Mail Server
ISP2
Ok, when i DANT the smpt port to my mail server, I can see that the
conection in my mail server comes from the external IP of my ISP.
I need to change this so the conection to my mail server cames from the LAN
IP from my firewall
Is this possible?

You disappear for five weeks...
And someone goes and redesigns the look and operation of the Trac. Quite
noice, but a couple of comments:
* The main toolbar ("Wiki", "Documentation", "Timeline") ends up under the
puppet logo on the left hand side, which is a pest.
* I can''t click on any link, text box, or button in the main part of the
page. All of the navigation links work fine, and I
