[LLVMdev] 2.0-prerelease build errors
Hi all, I'm building the LLVM 2.0 pre-release on a brand new FreeBSD 6.2 install. Without the bison package installed, the build breaks: $ tar zxf llvm-2.0.tar.gz $ mkdir objdir $ cd objdir $ ../llvm-2.0/configure $ gmake [...] gmake[2]: Entering directory `/usr/home/emil/objdir/utils/TableGen' llvm[2]: Compiling AsmWriterEmitter.cpp for Release build llvm[2]: Compiling

I have downloaded the llvm-1.9 from the following link http://llvm.org/releases/download.html#1.9 There are some header files missing and I am getting some compilation errors of the source code when I compiled the llvm-1.9. Can you please send me the correct source code. I am getting the following errors when I compiled the llvm-1.9 on linux-ubuntu with the following command. make -k | tee

[LLVMdev] Link error with TOOLLINKOPTS=-ldbghelp on MinGW
Hi LLVM'ers When linking tblgen tool I get below error message on MinGW. I have put TOOLLINKOPTS=-ldbghelp in Makefile.config. However, when rearranging library dbghelp to the end of the g++ line, tblgen gets linked. -------------------------- make[2]: Entering directory `/C/Projects/build/MinGW/llvm/utils/TableGen' Linking Debug executable tblgen /C/Projects/build/MinGW/llvm/mklib

It seems that the -L path options are specified before the LLVM libraries (libSystem and libsupport) are linked in.

[LLVMdev] Building on x86-64
I made my first attempt to build on an x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu system. Is this supposed to work? I get libtools errors (below). The problem seems to be that it finds a 32-bit libltdl rather than the 64-bit libltdl. /home/dag> ls /usr/lib/libltdl.so.3.1.0 /usr/lib/libltdl.so.3.1.0 /home/dag> ls /usr/lib64/libltdl.so.3.1.0 /usr/lib64/libltdl.so.3.1.0 Is this a known problem?

[PATCH 1/3] builder: make the C index parser reentrant
Switch the lex/yacc parser into reentrant mode, to ease the handling of parsing-specific data; introduce a new parser_context struct for that, which is added as extra data to the parser. This should cause no behaviour changes in the parsing, just no more global variables used for getting data in/out the parser. --- builder/index-parse.y | 44 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++------

[PATCH] builder: better handle some index parsing errors
Add a new lexer token, unused in the grammar, for the unknown lines in index files; this should allow to better handle such kind of parsing errors, removing the need to exit() directly (and leave things in an unclean state). --- builder/index-parse.y | 1 + builder/index-scan.l | 5 +---- 2 files changed, 2 insertions(+), 4 deletions(-) diff --git a/builder/index-parse.y b/builder/index-parse.y
