[LLVMdev] Linearscan allocator bug?
Folks,
I'm running into something which looks like a bug in linearscan allocator. Of
course I can't be 100% sure it's not some unobvious mistake on my part, so
I'd like to hear your opinion.
First, I attach two files -- LLVM asm and the asm for my target. The problem
with assembler is: on line 171 it uses register gr2, which is copied from gr6
above, on line 161. The only

[LLVMdev] Target.td:Register changes
Hi, looking at the fresh CVS state I see:
class Register<string n> : RegisterBase<n> {
list<RegisterBase> Aliases = [];
}
while previously the Register class did not require any parameters. The change
log is just:
* Target.td: Revamp the Register class, and allow the use of the
RegisterGroup class to specify aliases directly in register
definitions.
and I

[LLVMdev] Operand constraints
On my target, the multiplication can involve all general purpose registers,
but there's are still some restrictions: the first and the second operand as
well as the result must be in different registers, and neither register can
be gr7. How can I enforce this restriction on the register allocator?

Problem when combining dotplot() and textplot() using grid
Hi everyone.
I want to solve the following problem. I have a data.frame and I
create a dotplot using lattice.
Then I want to use the grid-package to create a combined graphic which
contains the dotplot as well as a textplot() (using package gplots) of
the data.frame next to the dotplot.
Example code:
library(lattice)
library(grid)
library(gplots)
xx <- data.frame(f=factor(rep(1:5, each=5)),

La tabla es la siguiente::

Error when using polr() in MASS

I get an error message when I use polr() in MASS. These are my data:

problem with optim()
Dear R-users,
I would like to maximize the function g above which depends on 4 parameters (2 vectors, 1 real number, and 1 matrix) using optim() and BFGS method. Here is my code:
# fonction to maximize
g=function(x)
{
x1 = x[1:ncol(X)]
x2 = x[(ncol(X)+1)]
x3 = matrix(x[(ncol(X)+2):(ncol(X)+1+ncol(X)*ncol(Y))],nrow=ncol(X),ncol=ncol(Y))
x4 = x[(ncol(X)+1+ncol(X)*ncol(Y)+1):length(x)]

Bug in arima?
I'm using the fixed argument in arima. Shouldn't ar4, ar5, and ar6
display as zero in the output?
Call:
arima(x = window(log(hhprice), start = c(1990, 1), end = c(2003, 3)),
order = c(7,
1, 0), xreg = window(ts.union(exa1 = lag(exa, -1), exa12 = lag(exa,
-12), exb1 = lag(exb, -1), exc1 = lag(exc, -1), exc12 = lag(exc,
-12)), start = c(1990, 1), end = c(2003, 3)),

[PATCH 1/4] drm/nouveau: refactor VGA font save/restore
Remove drm_nouveau_private::fb member and map the piece of VRAM only

[LLVMdev] BranchInst problem
While adding support for branch instructions in my backend, I run into a
trouble. The code to handle branches looks like:
void visitBranchInst(BranchInst& BI)
{
BB->addSuccessor (MBBMap[BI.getSuccessor(0)]);
if (BI.isConditional())
BB->addSuccessor (MBBMap[BI.getSuccessor(1)]);

Different results with arima in R 2.12.2 and R 2.11.1
Hello , I have estimated the following model, a sarima:
p=9
d=1
q=2
P=0

Q=1
S=12
In R 2.12.2
Call:
arima(x = xdata, order = c(p, d, q), seasonal = list(order = c(P, D, Q),
period = S),
optim.control = list(reltol = tol))

Unprivileged user can write to mbr
Hi,
I'm having trouble rationalizing the behaviour described below. Is this
a security-issue (bug) or a feature?
- An unprivileged user 'bztest' with read-only access to /dev/ar0:
%id
uid=1004(bztest) gid=1004(test) groups=1004(test), 5(operator)
%ls -l /dev/ar0
crw-r----- 1 root operator 4, 21 Nov 23 17:34 /dev/ar0
- Now, the device ar0 has the standard mbr installed:
%cmp

[LLVMdev] Callee saved register, almost
I've another problem. There's one register, gr6, which is used to return high
part of return value for functions returning 64-bit values. For such
functions, the register should not be saved, naturally.
But when function does not return 64-bit value, then the register must be
saved. How can I express this in .td file?
