Off topic --- help in locating a source.
Apologies for the off-topic question; as usual I'm trying to draw upon the unparalleled knowledge and sagacity of the r-help list. Please reply off-list if you can help me out. A collaborator of mine found a formula we need, on sheets which he had photocopied out of a book, some years ago. He cannot remember which book (he's getting to be as senile and forgetful as I am, poor bloke!).

[LLVMdev] project built with LLVM

The project is a disassembly framework named Capstone (https://github.com/aquynh/capstone). Here is a description: --- snip --- Capstone is a lightweight multi-platform, multi-architecture disassembly framework. Our target is to make Capstone the ultimate disassembly

Interesting remarks about R back in 1999
Hi, this is not an R-help post, but I found this extract below that was written by a leading mathematician back in 1999 when he was talking about statistics and computing. I found it interesting to share and I ask your opinion do you think this still holds today or things have changed? Thanks. ?...we would also like to mention that in our opinion Mathematica provides an excellent and indeed

A demonstrated shortcoming of the R package management system
CRAN, by relying on the powerful package management system that is part of R, provides an unparalleled framework for extending R with nearly 20k packages. We recently encountered an issue that highlights a missing element in the otherwise outstanding package management system. So we would like to start a discussion about enhancing its feature set. As shown below, a mechanism to force

Paypal? Available in 44 of the world's approximately 190 countries
Hi, In the aftermath of trying to register for Astricon, I've been still trying to re-open my Paypal account. The credit card and bank account I used are UK-based. I live in South Africa at the moment. Paypal have now formally refused to open an account for me. Notwithstanding that I have successfully "verified" both my credit card and my current account following their

Re: snapshot anomaly
I had the same problem yesterday. I found the solution from this article https://kashyapc.fedorapeople.org/virt/lc-2012/snapshots-handout.html. According to the article it deletes the tracking metadata by libvirt. You can physically remove the snapshot now that there is no tracking stream data by libvirt On Wed, Aug 23, 2017 at 4:56 PM, Doug Hughes <doug.hughes@keystonenap.com> wrote:

Cambiar el formato de datos
Después del "gather()" puedes hacer un "arrange()" que es una ordenación. Y dentro de "arrange()" le indicas la variable por la que ordenas (no hacen falta comillas)... Lo ordenará alfabéticamente. cutree() and horizontal dendrograms
When I use the function cutree(), the numbers of the clusters are not in the same order as the plotted dendrogram. Is there any way of sorting them so that they match the tree? Is it possible to plot a dendrogram horizontally, preferably with the branches to the right? This would enable some practical composite plots, e.g. labels that were an entire table with several columns of information, or

displaying pruned clusters
Any idea why clusters five and six fall off the scale in the following? library(cluster) library(maptree) data(flower) dfl2<-daisy(flower,type=list(asymm=c(1,3),ordratio=7)) hdfl2<-hclust(dfl2) prune.dfl2<-prune.clust(hdfl2,k=6) plot(prune.dfl2) Of course the following will display all six clusters, but without a scale: draw.tree(prune.dfl2) Best wishes, Mikkel Mikkel Grum
