Re: assign static public IP to container
oh also would like to add that in the past when i post to a moderated
list i usually receive an email explaining such, and offering me the
opportunity to cancel the message by visiting a special URL (i think, or
replying to the message e.g.) or wait for it to be approved. since i
didn't receive any such email, i figured the duplicate posts were
silently rejected.

I noticed you posted very similar mails several times in a row; I
suspect it was because you were unaware that the list is moderated, and
kept trying to repost when you didn't see your message hit the archives.

Political Spam sent through several CentOS mailing lists
The CentOS team likes to offer an apology for the political spam mails
which went through our mail servers earlier today.
Due to the nature of mailing list software for public discussion groups,
there aren't that many security measures which can be taken to check which
mails are supposed to get through and which mails aren't. Total safety can
only be had by a moderation of all lists -

Moderated list?
I've been away from this list but reentered recently. Now when I send a
question I get an automated answer saying:

The reason it is being held:

Is this the new style of the list?

SV: Looking for a guide to collect all e-mail from the ISP mail server

I don't agree.
In fact, using a browser for email or atleast initial setup, is actually more secure. This because SMTP/IMAP clients normally don't support 2FA, so you would have to "hack" a solution to enable 2FA for email.
This can be made in 2 ways: Either, you have a full fledged email setup. Whats important, is, to prevent

Adding handling for Multipath storage devices
The following patches introduce support for multipath and cciss devices to the ovirt-node and node-image. Comments are appreciated.
These patches assume that the 3 patches (2 node, 1 node-image) from Joey are all incorporated.

Spam on this list
Hi all,
Recently there has been a flurry of spam to this mailing list. I'm
considering switching the list to "subscriber post only" as a result.
If you send from and receive to different addresses (like I do, for
example), you need to subscribe your send-from address as a "no mail"
address.
Would people object to this scheme?

Isn't r-announce supposed to be moderated? I posted to r-announce about a
minor update in randomForest and was rejected. I was told that it's meant
for new or significant upgrades in packages, etc.
