[PATCH 2/2] actions: turn some params into RelativePathnameList (RHBZ#1174551).
Use RelativePathnameList as type for lists of relative paths, as used in
some listing-alike APIs. This way we can ensure absolute paths in those
lists are rejects outright.
As a consequence, test-big-dirs.pl does not need to prepend the
directory name anymore before calling listing-alike APIs: previously
they didn't fail, but the returned lists contained only invalid
elements (and only their

lstat & readlink calls during glusterfsd process startup
Hi all,
I am on gluster 3.10.5 with one EC volume 16+4.
One of the machines go down previous night and I just fixed it and powered on.
When glusterfsd processes started they consume all CPU on the server.
strace shows every process goes over in bricks directory and do a
lstat & readlink calls.
Each brick directory is 8TB, %60 full. I waited for 24 hours for it to
finish but it did not.

[PATCH klibc 0/3] Changes to support initramfs-tools 0.117
initramfs-tools version 0.117 requires 'readlink -f' and
'mount -o defaults' to work.
The first two patches were previously submitted but not applied.

Sys.readlink (on BSD vs Linux)
Hello,
sorry for not being clear enough.
My problem is represented with the following code, running on OSX:
mkdir ~/test
ln -s ~/test ~/testlink
touch ~/test/foo
Rscript -e 'Sys.readlink(c("~/test/foo", "~/testlink/foo")); normalizePath(c("~/test/foo","~/testlink/foo"))'
I expected `Sys.readlink` to show the same output as `normalizePath`.

Sys.readlink (on BSD vs Linux)
Hello together,
the function `Sys.readlink` uses the system's readlink command to resolve symlink paths. On OSX/BSD the command has a different meaning than on Linux [1].
There exists the tool 'realpath', which seems suitable for the task, at least applied at the command line level [2]. It is used in `normalizePath`.
I suggest (at least the latter) to
* use realpath instead readlink

MANAGESIEVE patch v4 for dovecot 1.0.rc28
Hello dovecot users,
I have updated the MANAGESIEVE patch to fix the currently known small
problems with the protocol implementation. It is designed for rc28, but
also compiles cleanly with the current cvs branch_1_0.
Change Log V4

unpredictable behaviour
I see very odd results from rsync 2.4.7pre1, the latest cvs version (sept
12, i think was the last modified file).
We have a number of network-attached storage devices. 10/100 ethernet,
nfs2 mounted (under nfs3, they buffer deletes, and recursive deletions
fail). Usually, these are kept syncronized across
a wan by a nightly cronjob,
We have a few we keep in reserve, which we syncronize

[PATCH 0/3] Introduce arm64 support
Hello,
This series introduces arm64 support to klibc.
I've rebased the work from Neil Williams and Anil Singhar into the
following three patches. Most of the code changes are due to new
syscall implementations being needed for arm64 as a only a minimal set
of syscalls are defined in the arm64 kernel.
This series is to be applied against the latest klibc, just after

[PATCH V2 0/3] Introduce arm64 support
Hello,
Here is V2 of the arm64 support for klibc patch set.
Notable changes since the original series:
* fp regs dropped from setjmp/longjmp
* chmod, lstat and stat re-implemented with *at functions.
* open64 merged into open.
As with the original, this series is to be applied against the latest
klibc, just after

rsync fails with "Permission denied" errors on random files over NFS
Hi
I use rsync for daily backups from a mailserver.
Every day the mailserver pushes backup to the backupserver.
Cron runs the command:
rsync -q -zrlpt --specials --chmod=Du+rwx \
--rsh 'ssh -F /root/ssh/config -i /root/ssh/private.key -o
UserKnownHostsFile=/root/ssh/known_hosts' \
--files-from=/root/include \
--exclude-from=/root/exclude \
--link-dest=../previous \

Need help with rsync.
I have two hosts which have their respective keys loaded into each others
.ssh/authorized-keys2 file for root. I want to move a directory tree from one
host to the other via rsync to maintain a shadow structure of the application
provided on the main host.
This is the relevant part of the command:

delete fails to delete everything it should like dangling symlinks
I think someone posted this before, but I can't find it in the archives.
I am using rsync to pull down source files to be compiled. The delete
options are used to clear out any old files left over from previous.
Normally this works. I've run into one case where it persistently fails.
Within the directory created during compiling is a symlink to another
directory, also created during
