Libvirt to return the ip address instead of the hostname during migration
Hi all, We are working on nova live-migration using Ceph and trying to work around the problem where vm migration fails if name resolution is not enabled in a cluster. See the link, https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/6/html/Virtualization_Host_Configuration_and_Guest_Installation_Guide/App_Migration_Address.html We have managed to work around this by setting

I can do alaw, ulaw and gsm; remote can do g729 and alaw; asterisk wants to translate g729 -> alaw. WHY?
I am having a problem with one of my callers who is using either g729 or alaw.  I can do alaw but not g729 so asterisk should negotiate alaw right?  In fact from the sip debug it looks like it does, but then I get the dreaded "channel.c:5630 set_format: Unable to find a codec translation path: (g729) -> (alaw)" and the call hangs up.  Why? Last minute thought: Is it possible that

Escape ''&'' in text_field_with_auto_complete
Good day. I have searched on the net and through the archives to now avail as of yet. I have a text_field_with_auto_complete that searches for company names. These company names obviously can have an ''&'' in the name of the company (example Barnes & Nobel). The auto complete works beautifully. However, the problem arises when I pass the name of the company to the

error.crosses
Hello all, I have used describeBy to generate the following summary statistics. I simply need x and y error bars on a plot that has CQN (xaxis) and Price (yaxis). There should be four total points on the graph (one for each supplier). Using "error.crosses(desc$CQN, desc$Price)" does not work. group: a vars n mean sd median trimmed mad min max range skew CQN

[PATCH] builder: add an arch field to sources read from indexes
Add an architecture field for all the entries in each index, so we know which architecture they are (not used right now, but will be in the future). The problematic part here is properly marking with the correct architecture: since we only know the current index on libguestfs.org contains x86_64/amd64 images, entries coming from it are marked that way; images in all the other indexes

Nil result on find & pretty print
I am new to Ruby and to Ruby on Rails and have spent the last few days trying to get my head around it. I think I am already hooked but am suffering badly from years of programming a non-OO RDBMS. I am trying to learn by attempting to produce a system for my work. I have a main table sdocs which has a field supplier_id which is an entry in another table (suppliers) to lookup supplier name etc.

Strange wildcard problem
Hi, Apologies for reposting this for those who read this via ruby-forum, but it didn''t make it to the list before, and the list seems more active... I''m using ferret (via acts_as_ferret) in a somewhat unorthodox manner and am having a strange wildcard problem. Before anyone wonders why we''re doing things this way, the answer is basically that it lets us

Purchasing Grandstream Phones
Does anyone know of any reliable supplier for Grandstream phones? I tried dealing with David Li from Grandstream, but after emailing him an order in August, and asking how he wanted payment, I never got a reply... James Ho from DGTimes was happy to give me pricing, but when I sent him an email asking for shipping costs, I never got a reply... I tried dealing with John from Chagres Ventures, but

re tail case-pack ordering problem - can R help?
I'm a programmer, not a mathmatician. I heard about R, and I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if there is an existing R function that can help with a problem we're currently trying to find an algorithm for. If R is not the answer, but you can recommend a known algorithm, that would help a lot! I'm on a project in a retail corporation, working on a program to assist retail buyers

Suggested Motherboard for TE410P
Hi all, I'm looking for a new system which will use the TE410P. Originally I was going to use a dual Athlon MP system, but my supplier tells me these are being phased out now, and so will be difficult to find replacement parts later. So, I am looking for suggestions of suitable motherboards with 3.3V PCI slots for the following CPU types (in order of my personal preference) AMD Opteron 1xx
