patch to make media player classic works in stream mode instead of download play mode (shoutcastsource)
when media player classic is usually bundled in vary codec packs which are widely used by most of the windows user that insode code pack, so it would be nice if icecast support it instead of just fixing media player classic. and btw it looks like media player classic is not maintained anymore, except there is a mpc-hc the problem is that MPC/MPC-HC is too strict that it require the server

Media Player Classic
Well hello everybody. I just recently started using Linux Mint and I heard about Wine a few weeks ago. I was told I was able to run Windows applications on here which is great. What I'm trying to get at here is that I'm trying to get Media Player Classic to work when using Wine. MPC is installed and when I click it under Wine, the player comes up but I can't play anything. An error

Media Player Classic
may I recommend working on support for "Media Player Classic" by gabest to further enhance the whole directshow and multimedia framework it uses? Best try klmcodec pack, it has all the dlls in it aswell as MPC and does not yet work. By the way, it is the best media player I ever used. cheers. --------------= Posted using GrabIt =---------------- ------= Binary Usenet downloading

Media Player Classic (Wine not picking up native ole32.dll?)
I'm trying to get Media Player Classic to run using wine. My current showstopper is a crash whenever I try to browse for a file to open. The last part of the output looks like this: err:ole:CoGetClassObject class {603d3800-bd81-11d0-a3a5-00c04fd706ec} not registered err:ole:CoGetClassObject class {603d3800-bd81-11d0-a3a5-00c04fd706ec} not registered err:ole:CoGetClassObject no class object

FLAC: how to dump seekpoints ?
Hello, metaflac provides exporting CUEpoints, but not SEEKpoints. As i understand, cuepoints represent gaps beetween tracks (inserting pause), whereas seekpoints merely describe a list of seekable points. Can cuepoint be used just as seekpoints (in the end, the only thing which matters is that some classic media players will recognize them). In the script i have just posted before (joining

oggcodecs 0.72.1838
Hi, oggcodecs are a set of directshow filters for encoding and decoding Ogg vorbis, speex, theora and flac. Which basically means, you can play .ogg files in Windows Media Player. I have decided to finally get around to splitting the releases to stable and unstable. 0.72.1838 is the first unstable release. Hopefully this will let me have more frequent releases, without having to worry about

Add-on patch to support .pls .asx .ram .qtl listing formats
Hi, If you have multiple players installed on your PC/Mac .m3u will always open the last media player who are the default in charge of the extension and mime m3u. On your web site you want maybe to force a link to open real media player or quicktime/itune. You need to create a .pls to force winamp loading the streaming because windows media player won't open .pls etc. If you add a .pls
