attachment sis + EMLINK (too many links) = segfault bug (2.2.12)
Hi, we use attachment dedup with lots of emails (still migrating to it from maildir). We use netapp storage with wafl filesystem over nfs. Problem is that netapp has hard limit of 100k hardlinks to one file. And we encountered it. Problem is that dovecot start do segfault (lmtp,dsync,pop3 etc) when it happend when tried to deliver new emails with that attachment. Here is strace of dsync: 6740

link(2) EMLINK error behavior with --link-dest and --hard-links
Hi, I'm having a problem using --link-dest and --hard-links when the fs hits the hard link limit (link(2) returns EMLINK). Using rsync 3.0.7 an error is thrown and the target file is not created. Glancing at git head it _looks_ like things could now be a little nicer. Perhaps the target file is copied instead of hard linked when hardlinking fails -- I've not tested it. Anyway, the

I have renamed all of the patch files to .txt, which should be acceptable for the mailer daemon at mindrot, per Angel's suggestion. I am attaching the patch files to the email, with the extra space removed and a minor correction made. Deprecated calls to bzero() and index() found in OpenSSH 6.1p1
Hello All, In reviewing source code for OpenSSH-6.1p1, I found instances of deprecated library calls still within various source code files. Examples of deprecated calls are: bzero() (replaced with memset() which is ANSI compliant), index() (replaced with strchr() which is also ANSI compliant). In file 'auth2-jpake.c', I've replaced all the bzero() calls with the equivalent

[RFC PATCH] nouveau: add locking
--- This is still a WIP. Just wanted to get people's opinions. It's also not bullet-proof. Unfortunately nouveau_bo_wait [which is in turn called by nouveau_bo_map] can trigger a kick, so technically we have to have a lock around any nouveau_bo_map. My strategy here was to add locks around all the user-accessible APIs while leaving all the internal stuff unlocked. When waiting for a

[LLVMdev] Proposal: stack/context switching within a thread
Right now the functionality is available, sometimes, from the C standard library. But embedded environments (often running a limited standard library) and server environments would benefit heavily from a standard way to specify context switches within a single thread in the style of makecontext/swapcontext/setcontext, and built-in support for these operations would also open the way for

(Single instance) attachment storage
Now that v2.0.0 is only waiting for people to report bugs (and me to figure out how to fix them), I've finally had time to start doing what I actually came here (Portugal Telecom/SAPO) to do. :) The idea is to have dbox and mdbox support saving attachments (or MIME parts in general) to separate files, which with some magic gives a possibility to do single instance attachment storage.
