VMware with UEFI fails to boot
Hi there, I am trying to setup a bootable PXELinux (Using 6.02) over UEFI. Currently, I am using DNSMasq for this. PXE with BIOS works perfectly fine for me. As I don't have any UEFI devices here, I am using VMware Workstation 10.0.1 for testing. My DNSMasq setup has been extended, to load also UEFI: dhcp-boot=pxelinux.0 dhcp-match=set:efi-ia32,option:client-arch,6

Problems with roaming profiles // Samba 3.0.7 from Sernet
Dear List, we are currently using Samba 3.0.4 (rpm from Sernet - http://ftp.sernet.de/pub/samba/) on SuSE 8.2 with XP SP2-clients. The problem is: When we try to upgrade to Samba 3.0.7, the clients can't load the users profile, the error message says, that it can't find the path (though it works well for 3.0.4). Here is a snippet of the error messages in log.smb with log level 4:

That is a bigger change but is probably a better solution. How would this solution handle filenames containing spaces? Would we need to escape (presumably with a backslash)

Cannot read strange filenames
Hello List, on a windows-pc are files with an EURO-Sign "?" included in the filenames. This is working between all XP and 2000 Clients. But if i try to access such a file from a linux-box, I cannot read this files. I switched to the german charset with EURO Sign but no success. Then i tried the cifs instead of smbfs. But the same effect. Switching to UTF-8 doesn't work too.

Clang is a resource hog, the installers for Windows miss quite some files, and are defect!
