Trying to compile DAHDI on Pidora 2014 (RPi)
I just purchased an Amfeltec USB-FXO adapter and am trying to
compile DAHDI 2.10 on a Raspberry PI running Pidora 2014 R3. I have all
the dependencies but I get an error and cannot finish. Is it even
possible to compile DAHDI for the ARM plataform? Here is the error I am
getting:

Debian Buster RPi Louis'-repos
I have two DC's. One on an Intel based box and the other on a Raspberry
Pi (2B?) both using Louis' repos running Samba 4.12.3.
In comparing "samba-debug-info.txt" (generated by Louis'
"samba-collect-debug-info.sh" script) I see that the RPi
/etc/nsswitch.conf (file) does NOT include /systemd/ in the 'passwd' &
'group' lines like the Intel

NUT with Geekworm x728 UPS Hat on RPi?
I searched the forum from the website and didn’t get any hits, so I thought I’d ask here.
I have an RPi 4B running Home Assistant. It has the NUT integration, and I have a Geekworm X728 UPS Hat installed.
It has an I2C interface for reading data.
https://raspberrypiwiki.com/X728-Software
I was wondering if NUT supports that?

using a Rpi as an icecast source
Hi ,
we use a barix

it with a Raspberri Pi.
Did anyone found a cheap and supported usb audio card that would have basic

Also for i2c specifically, you can look at examples in asem and recently
pijuice drivers.
Hope this helps,

*.c32 for efi64 and efi32?
Dear Syslinux developers,
I'd like to continue the discussion about this:
http://www.syslinux.org/archives/2014-February/021659.html
i.e. different directories for *.c32 files of BIOS, EFI32, and EFI64.
I am wondering why we can not have
*.c32 for the COMBOOT files of BIOS,
*.e32 for the COMBOOT files of EFI32
*.e64 for the COMBOOT files of EFI64
As now the ldlinux file of syslinux 6.0x has,

-march=pentium2 + -mtune=pentium4 faster then -march=pentium4?
Why does GCC produce faster code using "-march=pentium2
-mtune=pentium4" on a Pentium 4 chip versus plain -march=pentium4?
Try it...
CPUTYPE=pentium2
CFLAGS+= -mtune=pentium4
COPTFLAGS+= -mtune=pentium4

Chain-loading from WDS to PXELinux on a different tftp server
Hey guys,
We are going with WDS to fire up first to get the benefits of targeted M$ deployments. If you have the "handle unknown computers" off on your M$ Distribution point, then you can still use regular WDS which runs next as a PXE filter (DLL linked into WDS) to fire off anything you want to including PXELinux.
The stuff I was talking about before with PXELinux not working in

package installation problems
Hello,
I just updated from R 2.1.1 to R 2.3.1 (I also updated from Fedora 3 to
Fedora 4 if that is of any importance). However, several packages (e.g.
fields etc.) refuse to be installed. I get the following error message:
[root at localhost R-files]# R CMD INSTALL fields_2.3.tar.gz

Syslinux Aarch64 porting
Hi,
Is there any information available on porting Syslinux to 64bit ARM?
Specifically, I have a Cavium ThunderX board (Gigabyte R120-T30) which
boots using UEFI - b2b.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5864#ov
I'd be very interested in getting this to work, as currently the only
option for booting on this platform is Grub 2 or EFI Stub. If anyone can
point me in the right
