Library_modules (list of & wiki write permissions)
Hello,
I poked a little bit to extract the list of modules dependencies in
Syslinux v6 (see below). I have attached a bash script that generate a
nice table from the tarball. The output can either be an ASCII table, or
wiki markup, typically for the page Library_modules[1].
I am not in the wiki Editor group, so I can't put that in the wiki.
anyway, here's an updated dependency tree for

PXEBOOT - chainload different syslinux version
Hi,
I would like to chainload syslinux 3.86 after booting from pxelinux of
syslinux 6.04 is it possible?
I was checking chain.c32, but i was not very successful so far.
on my tftproot? dir i has this:
pxelinux.0
boot/isolinux/
pxelinux.cfg/
isolinux_3.86/pxelinux.0
isolinux_3.86/boot/isolinux/
isolinux_3.86/pxelinux.cfg/
Does anyone know how i can, after booting from the tftproot pxelinux.0

Typo in "HowTos/PXE/Gparted_PXE"
Dear all,
Inside the "HowTos/PXE/Gparted_PXE" wiki document, the "tftproot"
directory should be "tftpboot", and the hyphens could be removed in the
following line:
Add the following lines to the pxelinux-configuration-file
(/tftproot/pxelinux.cfg/default by default)

Please see:

Fwd: Polycom phone time behind one hour.
Tried to submit this email this morning and didn't see it in the list. I apologize if it is a dupe.
I've inherited a customized Asterisk installation. After the past time change all clocks in my office are behind by one hour. After some digging it appears we have:
A /tftproot/sip.conf that is being pushed out to our phones.
I found the following line that seems to be what controls

problem booting files with .bin in their name (eg. memtest86+.bin)
It took me forever to figure out why I couldn't tftp boot into
memtest86+, I had the file "memtest86+.bin" installed into my tftproot,
and it was being loaded when I selected that menu item, but it would
result in a series of repeating numbers on the left hand side of the
screen.
Eventually, after trying a million different things, and then asking

PXELINUX and memtest86p weirdness
Hi,
I'm having a strange problem with Memtest86+ (4.10 and 4.20 tried) from
PXELINUX on a specific type of motherboard.
When running memtest86+ 4.10 from the newest "Ultimate Boot CD"
(isolinux i reckon?) the memtest runs without errors for several passes.
But when loaded from PXELINUX it shows several hundred memory errors in
just a few minutes.
I double checked by copying the

Missing make dependencies?
I'm seeing some sporadic build failures with 'make -j4'. The failures are:
make[4]: *** No rule to make target 'hello.c32', needed by 'all'. Stop.
I've only seen the failures with com32/samples/hello.c32 and com32/rosh/rosh.c32.
I'm not a make expert, but I think it's due to missing dependencies. This patch
seems to fix my failures, but I'm

PXE boot problem
I must be making some silly mistake. I can get the pxelinux.0 file to load,
but cannot get the config file to load.
I keep getting the message that it is trying to load a file from
pxelinux.cfg.
I have checked all the file permissions and other instructions. The
tftpserver is running on Fedora 5.
I have tried to load pxelinux on 2 completely different computers without
success.

efi config hang
works with legacy, hangs with efi.
where works is:
No DEFAULT or UI configuration directive found!
but enter and ^v make things happen
hangs is: nothing happens, no response from keyboard, have to reboot.
note:
config prompt.cfg
prompt.cfg does not exist, but I would expect similar behaviour
between efi and legacy.
test is:
starting with blank image, mkfs, mount it...

Fail to set up UEFI syslinux on ArchLinux USB Flash Drive
@Alex, please next time use "Reply All" (instead of the simple "Reply")

Syslinux Mailing List (instead of arriving to particular members).
Now, to the matter in question...

Gene, great documentation on PXELINUX-Multi-Arch
Gene,
First off, great documentation on
http://www.syslinux.org/wiki/index.php/PXELINUX-Multi-Arch
You clearly lay out the various techniques.
Just last week, I presented a pxelinux talk to our local Linux meet-up
group. (I've given
this talk before.)

[PATCH 0/9] elflink fixes
From: Matt Fleming <matt.fleming at intel.com>
Here are the patches that I've got queued up based on the very helpful
feedback I received from people testing Syslinux 5.00-pre9. Unless
anyone has any concerns these will make it into Syslinux 5.00-pre10.
Matt Fleming (9):
pxe: Don't call open_config() from the pxe core
ldlinux: Print a warning if no config file is found
