[PATCH] nvc0: Add and enable vblank support
Based on the original patch by Christoph Bumiller, but since it depends on kernel support patched I cannot push it yet. The changes are that I enable vblank by default, and offset takes OFFSET_HIGH/LOW instead of something relative to notifier_bo. [PATCH xf86-video-nouveau] wfb: Fix missing init function decls behind FB_ACCESS_WRAPPER
This causes nouveau_drv.so to not be loadable due to a missing wfbPictureInit. I'm not 100% sure what causes it -- it happens at runtime in the middle of probe, and I don't have wfb enabled. Either way, I'm going to revert this until we get a better idea of what's going on. On Sun, Jan 20, 2019 at 7:20 PM Rhys Kidd <rhyskidd at gmail.com> wrote: > > Fixes warning with

[DDX PATCH] Consider CRTCs disabled when DPMS is off
It turns out there's a difference in X between a CRTC being "disabled" and simply having it's DPMS turned off. This is problematic though, because if DPMS is turned off you can't really use the CRTC as a normal CRTC anyway since page flipping and vblanks will be non-functional. As a result, we've been considering DPMS-on CRTCs as enabled and attempt to perform pageflips,

[PATCH] Use nanosleep instead of usleep when waiting the hardware.

[PATCH xf86-video-nouveau] Check for xf86CursorResetCursor()
If it's available, xorg-server calls it on each mode configuration change. It does what xf86_reload_cursors does (and more), so we don't need to call the latter anymore. Fedora and direct rendering
Hello, I'm using Fedora 7 and I thought I should try nouveau. I couldn't get direct rendering to work. I found out that the Mesa package that ships with Fedora 7 doesn't include a DRI interface for the nouveau module. So I fetched the latest Mesa source from git, compiled with 'mke DRI_DIRS=nouveau linux-dri-x86' and copied the produced ./lib/nouveau_dri.so in the
