system.file() to read a text file from a vignette
[Env: R 2.12.2, WinXp] In a vignette for the vcdExtra package, I had a text file, tv.dat under data/, that I used in the vignette as <<tv1,results=verbatim>>= tv.data<-read.table(system.file("data","tv.dat",package="vcdExtra")) head(tv.data,5) @ I was told that this now generates a warning for non-Rdata files in R CMD check. But I'm now

problem with exclude
I've tried all of the permutations of exclude I can think of, so presumably I have some fundamental misunderstanding. The goal here is to exclude the file tv11.html in the ftp directory. rsync -avvvv -n --verbose --one-file-system -exclude='ftp/tv1.html' /usr/local/src /Media/sata/usr/local > /tmp/rsync (Server) Protocol versions: remote=30, negotiated=30 cmd=xclude=ftp/tv1.html

[LLVMdev] llvm-tv bug?
Hi, This seems like a llvm-tv bug, but couldn't submit it as llvm.org is down: llvm[2]: Compiling CFGGraphDrawer.cpp for Debug build In file included from CFGGraphDrawer.cpp:2: TVTreeItem.h: In member function `virtual std::string TVTreeModuleItem::getTitle()': TVTreeItem.h:66: error: conversion from `const wxChar*' to non-scalar type ` std::string' requested make[2]: ***

[LLVMdev] Handling Masked Vector Operations

What about using "undef" as the input for false items: tv1 = select mask, v1, undef tv2 = select mask, v2, undef tv3 = div tv1, tv2 v3 = select mask, tv3, undef I'm always confused

[LLVMdev] llvm-tv
I am trying to compile llvm-tv as per the instructions from the link - http://llvm.org/svn/llvm-project/television/trunk/README.txt The poolalloc doesn't seem to be in synch with the llvm svn version mentioned (78786). It is giving lot of errors during compilation. I fixed a few of them by bringing in functions/header files etc. wherever required from the mainline llvm. But this exercise

How to display laptop screen on LCD TV?
Hi, I am running CentOS 5.2 on Acer laptop, I try to display laptop screen on a LCD TV via VGA cable. It was fine while PC was booting in text mode, but as soon as I started X Window, the LCD TV has error "Unsupported signal, adjust your PC out". How can I adjust or may be regenerate an xorg.conf for the LCD TV (Sony KDL-40V5500)? Thank you. Kind Regards, Jupiter

version to Irix 6.5
My name is Angelica Nunes and I work at TV Globo Rio de Janeiro/Brazil. I need some help about the SAMBA software. Our system is based on Silicon Graphics' machines, models: Indy, Impact, Onyx and Indigo using Operational System Irix 6.2, 6.3 or 6.4. We must upgrade all these systems to Irix 6.5 version. We would like to know which samba version is compatible with Irix 6.5? Where do I can

[LLVMdev] LLVM-TV web page link is broken?
Sorry, I don't personally have any of that stuff anymore -- I seem to recall that page didn't have a whole lot on it, though. I think Misha has messed around with llvm-tv more recently than I have. If you really want that particular page, it looks like you can get (a version of) it from the Internet Archive... http://web.archive.org/web/20041102220954/llvm.cs.uiuc.edu/~gaeke/llvm-tv/

Enabling TV-out with the nouveau driver
Hello everyone, First of all - congratulations on the success of your project. It was about time the community did something about the nvidia drivers! :) Now, I'm still experimenting with nouveau and I have enabled it on a test system that has a rather old Nvidia card (GeForce4 I think) with tv-out. Everything works fine, but I haven't been able to find any examples on how to
