Tessellation shaders get MEM_OUT_OF_BOUNDS errors / missing triangles
One additional observation that I just made is that on GK208, the blob
apparently doesn't use the result of S2R Rx, SR_INVOCATION_ID
wholesale in TCS. It either passes it through a I2I.S32.S32 Rx, |Rx|
(i.e. absolute value), or even more paradoxically, shl 2; shr 2; which
removes the top *2* bits, rather than just the top 1. However I see no
such behaviour on GF108.
I'm going to test out

Tessellation shaders get MEM_OUT_OF_BOUNDS errors / missing triangles
Hello,
I've been debugging a few different tessellation shader issues with
nouveau, but let's start small. I see this issue on my GK208 with high
frequency, and I *think* I've seen it once or twice on my GF108, but
it's exceedingly rare, if it does happen. I don't have a GK10x to test
on, unfortunately, but I assume it'll have the same issue as the
GK208.
The issue is

Transferring data from S+ to R
I would like to know if there is an easy way to transfer all the data from
a S+ directory (".Data" or "_data") to an R image? I would like to transfer
all the functions and all the data sets (data frames, vectors, lists, etc.).
I'm working under Windows NT and am using S+ 3.3 for Windows.

network-ups-tools won't shutdown my PC
Hello,
I'm using Archlinux x86_64 with linux-nouveau kernel (based on
linux-mainline (that is linux-3.6)).
I've installed nut-2.6.5. I first tried to use new systemctl .service
scripts, but they are problematic.
So I start and stop nut from /etc/rc.c script.
This way, it "woks".
Here are my config files :
nut.conf :
MODE=netserver
ups.conf :

[RFC PATCH] drm/nouveau: split off nvc0 compilation
So... I was wondering what the impact of splitting up the card compilation by
e.g. generation would be. Depending on the split things would get fairly
intertwined, so I thought I'd start small. This just splits NVC0 from
everything else. I figure that for the people this matters the most to, NVC0
is the least relevant card -- people with sub-1GB of RAM, older hardware.
With my config options

Xen Balloon Driver on PVHVM CentOS6
Hi List,
I'm trying to work out the balloon driver on CentOS6 HVM but it seems to be
not working with default 2.6.32 or newer 3.4 kernel.
Does balloon driver work on HVM linux guests with Linux Kernel 3.4 from
centos repo ?
PV is fine and is able to balloon.
My host is Xen 4.1.2 with dom0 as 3.4.46-8.el6.centos.alt.x86_64
My guest is CentOS6.4 with kernel 3.4.46-8.el6.centos.alt.x86_64

[PATCH] nv50/accel: Fix mangled A8+A8 shader.
Turns out we used a misaligned long instruction near the end, and the
shader was getting killed after writing R, A components. This has gone
unnoticed since the remaining G, B outputs aren't actually used.

[PATCH] drm/nv04/disp: restore console accel after the modeset
Signed-off-by: Emil Velikov <emil.l.velikov at gmail.com>
---
Noticed while looking at an issue reported by Rafa? Mi?ecki.
Seems like the right thing to do, but I don't know the specifics
behind the mode_set_base_atomic() so cannot comment if
nouveau_fbcon_save/restore is even needed or not.
Cheers
Emil
