About starting nfs-ganesha
When using nfs-ganesha with GlusterFS, is it necessary to enable it with the following command? # gluster nfs-ganesha enable It is said that it is necessary to enable nfs-ganesha option when setting ganesha.enable on for volume. It is said that setting of ganesha-ha.conf is necessary, but is it necessary to set up HA to use nfs-ganesha? I would be pleased if you could tell me about HA setting

I currently use it in the replica configuration of 3.10.2. The brick process may not start when restarting the storage server. Also, when using gnfs, the I / O may hang up and become unusable. After checking the release notes of 3.11.0, the following ID seems to be applicable, so please reflect it if it can be reflected in 3.10 series. Also, for items with high urgency Since 3.11.0 has just been

What is the current stable version of glusterfs? Also, the current latest versions are 3.8.9, 3.10.3, and 3.11.0, respectively, but why the bug-fixed contents in 3.11.0 are not applied to 3.8 series and 3.10 series? Do you apply with the next minor version upgrade?

Slow write times to gluster disk
Hi Soumya, I just noticed some of the notes at the bottom. In particular * Till glusterfs-3.7, gluster-NFS (gNFS) gets enabled by default. The only requirement is that kernel-NFS has to be disabled for gluster-NFS to come up. Please disable kernel-NFS server and restart glusterd to start gNFS. In case of any issues with starting gNFS server, please look at

Failure while upgrading gluster to 3.10.1
Hello Atin, I've gotten around to this and was able to get upgrade done using 3.7.0 before moving to 3.11. For some reason 3.7.9 wasn't working well. On 3.11 though I notice that gluster/nfs is really made optional and nfs-ganesha is being recommended. We have plans to switch to nfs-ganesha on new clusters but would like to have glusterfs-gnfs on existing clusters so a seamless upgrade

After 3.10 you'd need to use storhaug.... Which.... doesn't work (yet). You need to use 3.10 for now. Slow write times to gluster disk
Hi All, A follow-up question. I've been looking at various pages on nfs-ganesha & gluster. Is there a version of nfs-ganesha that is recommended for use with glusterfs 3.7.11 built on Apr 27 2016 14:09:22 CentOS release 6.8 (Final) Thanks Pat On 07/05/2017 11:36 AM, Pat Haley wrote: > > Hi Soumya, > > (1) In

valid BasicAA behavior?
Hi Hal, In that case what is the best way to query whether there is a loop carried dependence between B[j] and A[j] at i-loop level? We were operating under the assumption of 'conservatively correct' behavior of alias analysis in the function scope?
