R and LINGO?
Good Evening Does anyone in the R-help list have experience writing an R wrapper that interfaces with the commercial packages LINGO and/or LINDO.api from R? I have a set of nonlinear/mixed integer problems that solve nicely with LINGO but I would like to use R to set the problems up and analyze/plot the solutions dynamaically. I have searched the archives and have not found any R packages that

Primustel a.k.a. Lingo $20/month unlimited service

Plus first three months free and free equipment. It doesn't say what hardware they send you. Sounds like a very good deal. I searched the list and

US telco lingo
Could someone explain to a non-US dummy the following phrases I have seen on the list. "I can provide you with tier 1 termination 6/6. I can blend or NPANXX breakout." "We provide US48 termination, blended rate for 1 MOU and above is .008 with 6/6." What is 6/6? What is US48? What is blended? What is MOU? What is NPANXX breakout? -------------- next part --------------

Hierarchical data sets: which software to use?
Dear R-helpers, I’m writing for advice on whether I should use R or a different package or language. I’ve looked through the R-help archives, some manuals, and some other sites as well, and I haven’t done too well finding relevant info, hence my question here. I’m working with hierarchical data (in SPSS lingo). That is, for each case (person) I read in three types of (medical) record: 1.

connect asterisk to lingo without ata
Hi, I've recently signed up to the lingo service. I wish to use their service as a trunk interface for asterisk directly(without an ATA). Lingo's support hasn't been very helpful and I couldn't find any info searching google and voip-info.org. Does anyone have any experience with it? Could you send me a working config? Thanks, David Lowes --------------

Donation programme
Is there any decision about the donation programme? The Web page still says: "If you are looking to make a cash dontation to the CentOS Project, please check back here after August 15th, 2009." I assume that donations aren't refused, but is there a suggested amount, as there used to be? -- Yves Bellefeuille <yan at storm.ca> "Yves Bellefeuille: Eterna malvenkanto en

quantstrat questions
Quantstrat useRs, I have a number of questions about how to use quantstrat that I have accumulated since I have begun playing with it. First, can the orderqty be dynamic? All of the examples I have seen are based on placing an order for 100 shares when a rule is triggered. Is it possible to set it up to buy the maximum number of shares given the starting or current equity? Similar to that

--copy-unsafe-links, links preserved in source tree or local directory?
Hi, I'm a bit confused about what the '--copy-unsafe-links' option considers the 'source tree'. In the man page it says that for links pointing outside the 'source tree' the file will be copied, but when I try this, for all links pointing outside of the local directory the files are copied even though the links point to files that are in the directory tree that is

predict.zeroinfl not found
Hi Just a quick problem that I hope is simple to resolve. I'm doing some work with zero inflated poisson models using the pscl package. I can build models using zeroinfl and get outputs fom them with no problem, but when I try to use the predict.zeroinfl function, I get Error: could not find function "predict.zeroinfl". I was using an older version of R, but still had the same

Removing default loess line from scatterplot ({car})
scatterplot() is autogenerating a regression and loess line. I want to remove the loess line, but can only find samples for how to add it. I definitely do not have code that adds it (see below), so I am puzzling... scatterplot(Aroused ~ anxious | group, data=data, xlab="Aroused", ylab="Anxious", main="Arousal and anxiety ratings", xlim=c(0.5, 9.5),
