segplot (latticeExtra)
Hi, I'm having a bit of trouble with 'scales="free"' in the segplot() function of latticeExtra. Say we need panels for each year, showing only those counties that are represented in each one: ---<--------------------cut here---------------start------------------->--- library(latticeExtra) data(USCancerRates) uscr.w <- subset(USCancerRates, state ==

multiple lattice, xyplot & levelplot on same page
Dear R-users, I'd like to place an xyplot() at the top of a page and a levelplot() at the bottom of the same page, and have the x-axes be the same. I've come close to finding a solution through Rarchive, and can produce an upside-down version of what I'd like (levelplot() on the top - see code below). However, the following error occurs when I try and plot the xyplot() at the top:

lattice 3x3 plot: force common y-limits accross rows and align x-axes
Good afternoon, I would like to ask for help in controlling y-axis limits and labels in lattice doplots. Unfortunately, the problem is somewhat convoluted, please bear with the long explanation. I would like to create a 3x3 lattice of dotplots, say subject ~ count. The plot is conditioned on variables treatment and risk: subject ~ count | treatment + risk. In the experiment, not all subjects

Ensuring chain dependencies with expansion to libcalls
Hi all, Our target does not have native support for 64-bit integers, so we rely on library calls for certain operations (like sdiv). We recently ran into a problem where these operations that are expanded to library calls aren't maintaining the proper ordering in relation to other chains in the DAG. The following snippet of a DAG demonstrates the problem. t0: ch = EntryToken t2:

incorrect multiple outputs
HI, I'm having trouble with a piece of Rscript which keeps outputting incorrectly. it's something like this: the code reads in from a file which contains (reformated) input >file<-read.table(file="input_file.txt",sep="\t")[,c(1,3:5)] > >file.rows<- c(nrow(file)/288) # "input_file.txt" contains 288 reformatted lines for each original data file

parsing protocol of states
Dear R-users, actually i try to parse some state protocols for my work. i an easy stetting the code below works fine, if states are reached only once. in harder settings it could be possible that one state gets visited more times. in this case for me its interesting to see how much waiting time lies between to states on the whole. by the way i didn't use R as a parsing tool so far, so

Buggy trellis.focus() with xyplot ?
Hi: (Tried to find a bug report about this issue, but was unable to find it, let me know if this is a known issue) I have been working on an interface to highlight xyplot panels on mouse overs in JavaGD but I have stumbled with what seems to be a bug in trellis.focus. I am using R 2.8 with lattice 0.17-15 *** To replicate the bug: 1.- display an xyplot. For example, from the xyplot help page:
