Active Directory, sssd and pam_cracklib?
I'm in the process of testing out sssd on a CentOS 6 install using Active Directory for user authentication via sssd All appears to be working fine - however, when I change a user password using 'passwd' (or at login when the account has expired etc), it appears pam_cracklib is being over-zealous with the new password requirements Active Directory is set up with a password policy

server exercising, stressing, and/or testing
greetings would someone please point me to an excellent server exercising, stressing, and/or testing program that will run on centos 4? i want one that will not out and out destroy a machine so to speak... ...meaning testing is one thing, yet pounding a box in the hard drive department over and above the cause or unnecessarily does not appeal to me. fyi the box i want to test/stress this time

Tab formatting in dummy.coef.R
Happy New Year I recognize this is a low priority issue, but... I'll fix it if you let me. There are some TABs where R style calls for 4 spaces. For example R-3.0.2/src/library/stats/R/dummy.coef.R. I never noticed this until today, when I was stranded on a deserted island with only the R source code and a Swiss Army knife (vi). Now I realize my ~.vimrc has tabstop set at 2, and it makes

CentOS 5 Testing repo
We were using the CentOS 5 testing repo on dev.centos.org to update our webservers' PHP to 5.2. However, we've just tried building a new machine lately and found that the repo seems to be empty. Is this a temporary fault, or has it gone away now that CentOS 6 is out? If it has gone away, where can I grab PHP 5.2 packages from? Thanks. -- Spiro Harvey Knossos
