6.8 CR Packages
We should have the CR packages, that will eventually be turned into the
full 6.8 point release and ISO set, to the QA team today for testing.
I expect that it will take 1 to 2 days in QA and then those will be
ready for release into the 6.7/cr/ repository. That means that no later
than Monday, May 16th (and maybe as early as sometime within the next 24
hours), the CR packages, including the

CentOS Continuous Release Repository updated with CentOS-6.7 RPMs
The packages that will become CentOS-6.7, as well as updates completed
for CentOS-6.7 to date are now released into the CentOS-6.6 Continuous
Release (CR) repository.
All packages except for the centos-release RPM are included.
The purpose of the CR repository is to make the built packages
optionally available to users who opt in while we work on the CentOS-6.7
install tree and all the

the link to a copy of 64 bit CR repo is not working.
The link is:

Centos 6.3 - which repos to use?
I've just installed v6.3 as a desktop (from
Centos-6.3-i386-LiveCD.iso) and to get the hang of the Centos approach
and then hope to move on to a server. I've been using linux *buntu for
5 years.
Hope i don't sound like a nit but i've got a little confused with the
repos. Hoping someone would be kind enough just to clarify. This
installation is for stability whilst installing the

Firefox 45.4.0-1 for CentOS-6 and CentOS-7
The Red Hat engineers disabled the ffmpeg capability of firefox a couple
releases back due to stability issues. CentOS also has removed it as
for our main repositories, we build the source code for RHEL with as few
changes for branding/artwork as we can.
That said, we (I :D) want a firefox with ffmpeg support available,
therefore I have created a centosplus version of firefox that has ffmpeg

why no recent bind update for CentOS 6?
Hi CentOS developers - I?ve been happily using CentOS for several years now, so thanks for all the good work. In the last week, however, I noticed that while the items in RHSA-2015:1443 has shown up as updates (and announced on centos-announce), the analogous update for CentOS 6, RHSA-2015:1471 (according to https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2015-4620), doesn?t seem to be there. Kernel Updates
We are running kernel-3.10.0-514.26.2.el7 and need to update to
kernel-3.10.0-693.el7.
The new kernel is in the CR repo but not in the base/update repos. When
will the updates in the CR repo be in the base/update repos? This is a high
priority security issue for us.
