Hey, when running "samba-tool dsacl set" it prints the new acl of the applied object after command has finished. Is there a (bash) command to only print (not set/change) the current acl of an object? Thanks for any help & hints

Hi Bjorn, I don't know if there are any compile switches they provide more debugging / log options. I guess its easy to modify the start up script so that logging is at a max. I am trying to grant or denied access to a user for changing his passwd, it's the option: User cannot change passwd. For this, I am trying to use samba-tool dsacl set [option], but I am not sure of its syntax. Could you help me with that? I need to denied this permission without use ADUC or any private tool. Hi, Sort of half asked this before and didn't really get a reply. The ability to create, delete and list OU's would seem to be a fundamental but for some reason is missing. Could anyone supply any details if its planned or are there alternative methods to create without the use of RSAT? Stuart

I could find homePhone or telephoneNumber (multi-valued) attributes but nothing like phoneExtension. Did I miss something ? I not, what would you advise to store private extensions in LDAP db ? 2.
