CentOS7 buggy freeradius
Bonjour, It seems that freeradius 3.0.1-6.el7 of centOS 7 don't work. When doing very simple authentification (PAP control of ssh login on a switch), I get a segmentation fault when the first accounting packet arrives on the server. Does anyone test succesfully this version of freeradius ? Thanks PS: no error with the compilation of the last source version of freeradius (3.0.7) --

RHEL 7 Beta is now public
Hi, http://ftp.redhat.com/redhat/rhel/beta/7/ Go get it ( maybe consider using a mirror ), play with it, test it, and file reports. Dont use it in production. As in the past, we highly encourage people to use the official beta builds from Red Hat and to report issues at http://bugzilla.redhat.com/ Within CentOS, we are going to do a CentOS7Beta1 build to match the release upsteam, and do it in

OpenVPN server and firewalld
How do I insert the iptables rule below using firewalld? I'm moving up from CentOS 6 to 7 on an office gateway and I'm trying to get OpenVPN working to allow home workers to access PCs at the office. I've got it all working but only by manually inserting an ACCEPT rule in the FORWARD iptables chain: iptables -I FORWARD 3 -i tun+ -j ACCEPT This rule was extracted from my iptables

[Fwd: XCP - extreme high load on pool master]
Good day. We trying to test XCP cloud under some product-like load (4 hosts, each with 24Gb mem and 8 cores) But with just about 30-40 virtual machines I got an extreme load on dom0 on pool master host: LA is about 3.5-6, and most time are used by xapi and stunnel processes. It''s really bother me: what happens on higher load with few thousands of VMs with about 10-16 hosts in pool...

Unable to execute a script , Permission denied
Hi I have a linux box which has CentOS running in it. I logged into the box using root and wrote a script in the /home/proc_threads directory. saved the file and quit. I changed the file permissions such that any user could execute it using the "chmod 777 filename" command. When i log out and log in as a non-root user i was not able to execute the script though. Re: VM Performance using KVM Vs. VMware ESXi
Thanks Dominique & Daniel. Looks like i need to upgrade my VMs kernel to make it aware of virtio. Found this information from this link: http://wiki.libvirt.org/page/Virtio#Disk_.28block.29_device_driver I tried without upgrading the Kernel and as soon as i start my VM it got into Kernel Panic. I will try using virtio after upgrading my VMs kernel. Thanks for all the responses and
