Hello listmates, xsane on Ubuntu 10 finds that Canon PIXMA via the web and seems to be able to make use of it without a glitch. However, Centos machines sitting on the same net fail to find it. Hi, Any success stories with C6 and wireless printers? Or maybe horror stories and what products to avoid? I'm looking at some HPs on amazon right now, some quite cheap, ~ ?50, not bad. Ideally they should have easy to refill cartridges. Thanks.

Hi all, I'm try to use the firmware software of the Photosmart S20 scanner. The software by it self work fine , but it can't make the connection to the scanner. Is there a way with wine.conf or other to give to the software the right way to find the scanner? If you can help, please do, it make my day brighter!

My home network doesn't have any wireless access points (to slow) and I was iSCSI booting my wkst for a while:) Now I need to setup a printer so I was going to get an HP Photosmart C4580. The HPLIP page shows no network support:( I _was_ going to use a USB wireless nic I have and setup an ad-hoc to print to this thing. Anyone know anything that might make this work? Thanks! jlc
