GPLPV 0.10.0.69 Blue Screen 0x0000007B
Trying to install them on Xen 3.4.0, Intel E5345 Processors, Server 2008 64bit. I get the BSoD on boot with the 0x0000007B stop message. I''ve got a bunch of 2003 32bits running on the same host with the 0.10.0.69 drivers and those are totally happy. I tried the boot once with NOGPLPV idea mentioned in another thread, that didn''t do the trick. Ideas anyone? pace

Odd Virsh Capabilities response
Tried to migrate a few VMs from existing system to an older host that we threw in the rack to facilitate some server reshuffling. Migration complained about lack of capabilities (which I expected its an older server) but when I looked at what I should throw into the xml file I got a core2duo when it should have been at least Penryn or something (Xeon E5345) Of course the VMs work fine with

Many Tx dropped packets
Hi, I have 3 xen box with 2-3 VM on each. Each server has 2 nic (1 for external and 1 for internal network). All VMs are webserver and they mount a nfs filesystem. I''ve noticed that on each dom0 there are many dropped packets. Server config is: 1- DELL (2xQuad Xeon E5320 @1.86Ghz - 8Gb Ram - Perc5 - Kernel 2.6.18-6 (debian etch)) 2- DELL (2xDual Xeon 5110 @1.60Ghz - 4Gb Ram - Perc5 -

Server Recomendation
I am looking to install a system with 200 phones (polycom). There will be about 30-40 simultaneous calls. I am looking at the Dell 1950 with Quad 2.66, 2Gig RAM, Two 160 Gig SATA Drives (Mirrored with a Perc5 card), Dual Gig NIC, and RHEL 4.0. I will use two "gateways" for my PRI's and FXS Cards so PCI won't be used. I will probably use a small 14" 2U server to handle

Hardware Requirements for qdisc htb/sfq
I am planning to replace our cisco 7200 core router with Linux. We currently serve around 1500 (3/4 DSL - different router) customers with probably half of them being concurrent at any given time. We have a fiber network and customers currently aren''t managed as far as how much bandwidth they can use at anytime. Therefore I have constructed a working tc qdisc Linux router as a test. It

Hello, kernels 2.6.35.5 and 2.6.32.22 xen domU panics at the very begining of the boot process. Dell Perc 6 disk geometry problem with RAID5 (both 6.3 final and 7.0 RC1)
Hi, We bought a new Dell PowerEdge 2950III with Perc 6/i and have the disk geometry problem using 6.3 final or 7.0 RC1. Seems that we are not alone at least one guy has similar problem reported earlier: http://unix.derkeiler.com/Mailing-Lists/FreeBSD/questions/2008-01/msg00506.html I was reading the mailing list and found that some of the people are happily using this hardware with the latest

pxelinux efi64 boot woes on hyper-v gen 2
Ady: You seem to be taking (copy$paste) parts and pieces from different resources. Luke: Nope. The configuration works fine with PXE 2.01 clients, it's the UEFI PXE 3.2 that is having issues with the dhcp requests. The gospel is the Intel PXE 3 spec I'm RTFMing now. No copy and paste, I just started with someone elses configuration file that claims to support UEFI - or at least hopes to

Re: Oracle RAC in libvirt+KVM environment
Thanks, the whole iSCSI LUN have been passed to the VM. But I test it with scsicmd, and found that the driver may be not support SPC-3, but if i use this by microsoft iscsi initiator, I can pass all the scsi3_test tests. Tool can be found here: http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH72086 It's this means that the scsi passthrough windows driver does not

Dell PowerEdge R920 w/ Perc H730P
I'm having an issue install FreeBSD 10.0 on a Dell PowerEdge w/ the Perc H730P raid controller. I see there has been support added for the controller in the stable version using the mrsas driver. But when I boot up in the installer... it is still trying to use the older mfi driver. How do I get the installer to properly recognize the raid controller? Are there any logs I can provide to help

I/O performance problems on Dell 1850 w/ PERC 4e/Si RAID1 (Sol 10U6)
I''ve got Solaris 10 U6 with a ZFS boot/root installed on a Dell 1850 here, patched up as of this morning (kernel 141415-10). The system is running with hardware-mirrored disks, via the LSI MegaRAID controller, a PERC 4e/Si. 4G of RAM, one dual-core 3.4GHz CPU. The system is a simple mail hub, and it does the task very well. Most files exist only very briefly, and thus rarely touch the

Dell R605 w/ Perc 6/i problem
I think there was just a thread 'bout this, and I didn't pay attention... and then I walked into our smallest server room to rebuild a server with CentOS... and that's what it is. The problem I'm having is this: there are two 1T SAS drives, raided, via the controller. There's also a 750G SATA drive. The Dell test suite sees it, and reports that SMART says it's fine.
