UC Cemtos 7 : Systemd alternatives ?
Wasn't there a TV series in the 1960s about a US soldier who got made up to general thanks to the accidental over punching of paper tape? Looking for some hardware answers, maybe someone on this list could help
I posted a thread here... http://forums.opensolaris.com/thread.jspa?threadID=596 I am trying to finish building a system and I kind of need to pick working NIC and onboard SATA chipsets (video is not a big deal - I can get a silent PCIe card for that, I already know one which works great) I need 8 onboard SATA. I would prefer Intel CPU. At least one gigabit port. That''s about it. I

Why still no PKCS#11 ECC key support in OpenSSH ?
PKCS#11 support for ECC should have been integrated years ago. Let's not complicate it now, just integrate the existing patches so that people stuck with EC keys at least can use them somehow... [LLVMdev] Register Allocation of Globals
Hi, Is it possible to bind a physical register to a particular global value? For instance, can I say that the global variable %omnipresent should be allocated not to memory, but instead to register %EAX. Centos 6 Server has no GUI
I believe I have the exact answer to "Centos 6 Server has no GUI" but I don't see how to attach my answer to that thread. I am running in Virtual Box on a Windows machine. When I changed my memory available from ? Gb to 1 Gb , and my video memory to 24Mb, my installation script went from an interface reminiscent of MS-DOS in the 80's to a nice GUI installation, and my number of

How to save & play back an entire R session?
I know that at the end of an R session I'm given the option to save the current *state* of the session. But I would like to save the entire sequence of inputs that took place during the session, so that I can play them back later, and not only be left in the same state I was at the time of saving the session, but be able to see the entire history of the session (inputs and outputs). scriptaculous & sortables/draggables scrolling?
Re, Would anyone happen to know how to make sortable/draggable scroll down the page while moving the object if the page happens to be larger than the screen size? These functions seem to work only within the visible working space. Right now I have workaround whereby I have an omnipresent DIV on the screen to which I drop an element, then scroll down in the browser to a certain point, and then

ssl_dh
https://wiki.dovecot.org/SSL/DovecotConfiguration says: "Since v2.3.3+ Diffie-Hellman parameters have been made optional, and you are encouraged to disable non-ECC DH algorithms completely." and a bit later: "From version 2.3, you must specify path to DH parameters file using ssl_dh=</path/to/dh.pem" So. 1. Is ssl_dh an optional or a must? 2. I've disabled ssl_dh
