Hello,
I'm trying to build Asterisk12 on a Centos 6.4 VM. The configure script is erring out with:
?
checking for uuid_generate_random in -luuid... no
checking for uuid_generate_random in -le2fs-uuid... no
checking for uuid_generate_random... no
configure: error: *** uuid support not found (this typically means the uuid development package is missing)
I have installed (using yum) uuid, uuidd

Build failure for isohybrid
Dear list,
I have been trying to debug a build failure for a while in the utils
directory on isohybrid which seems to be distro specific.
On Fedora 17 64bit the build completes without problems, but under both
Ubuntu 32/64bit 11.10 and 12.04 I get the following:
tim at oxygen:/usr/src/git/syslinux/utils$ make
gcc -O2 -luuid -o isohybrid isohybrid.o isohdpfx.o
isohybrid.o: In function

Can't find uuid!
Hello Asterisk,
New install.
Current Fedora server.
Current Asterisk V16
Installed everything necessary to run configure including uuid and uuid-devel.
I know everything but uuid works as I commented out the uuid test and configure finished.
Make fails with uuid/uuid.h not found.
uuid/uuid.h is not there, but uuid.h is there.
Tried changing <uuid/uuid,h> to <uuid.h> in uuid.c

btrfs-progs
Hello,
I''ve just pulled btrfs-progs from the new git repo
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/mason/btrfs-progs.git
However, when I come to make it fails like so:
gcc -Wp,-MMD,./.btrfsctl.o.d,-MT,btrfsctl.o -Wall -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 -g -Werror -Os -c btrfsctl.c
gcc -g -Werror -Os -o btrfsctl btrfsctl.o ctree.o disk-io.o radix-tree.o extent-tree.o

Bug in ast_frame_adjust_volume in 12.2.0?
I'm getting a SIGSEGV at ast_slinear_saturated_multiply at the line:
351 res = (int) *input * *value;
It's called from ast_frame_adjust_volume.
The frame looks like:
(gdb) print *f
$6 = {frametype = AST_FRAME_VOICE, subclass = {integer = 100021, format = {
id = AST_FORMAT_SLINEAR16, fattr = {format_attr = {
0 <repeats 64 times>}, rtp_marker_bit = 0

Possible bug in app_meetme.c
Is this patch correct? The "&&" doesn't make logical sense to me. I think
it should be "||" and making this change fixes the problem I have with SIP
phones in MeetMe conferences. If it's correct, is there someplace more
formal that I should submit it to?

Losing first DTMF digit (with ASR)
I'm having a wierd problem. Somewhere around 1-2% of the time, the
first DTMF digit dialed gets dropped. This is occurring during a
SpeechBackground application call. If the caller reenters the digits
when given a second chance, all is OK.
Any suggestions how to debug this intermittent problem?

g723 transcoding
It appears that there are no transcoders from g723 to anything else in
Asterisk 10.7.1. Does anybody know how to fix that?

sip.conf, realtime, and LDAP
I'm confused exactly what's supported with LDAP and Asterisk. What I want
to do is to have SIP peer information read directly (in realtime) from LDAP.
Can this be done? If so, with what Asterisk versions?

That's not correct. I set it all over the place in my dialplan.

Wine : error during compilation (mandriva 2006 - x86_64)
Hi,
I have Mandriva 2006 x86_64.
I tried to install wine, but the binaries are for 32 bits and the result
is very instable (win programs close suddenly, no internet available for
those programs, etc...)
So I tried to compile wine 0.9.14 from source, but I have an error
during make when "searching for -lXext" :
LD_LIBRARY_PATH="../../libs/unicode:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH"

Confbridge GUI?
Interesting. Are you using the included cbend.php script to terminate conferences?
I occasionally get questions about using WMM with Confbridge, and to date I have
not had an answer .
If you can provide details, even vague ones, about how you did it, I can update the
WMM package.

Speech/DTMF mix?
Which speed recognition products will also recognize DTMF? In other words,
I want to say "Please speak or dial the conference number". Does Vestec
allow that? LumenVox? Any other way?

Help Building LLVM for Android
Hey Guys,
I'm working on a project in Android related to System-level Audio DSP
Effects for Tuning Android Audio. I want to leverage Faust (
https://faust.grame.fr/) to allow users to program their own filters.
Faust provides a libfaust implementation which includes a JIT Compiler
which leverages LLVM and seems to be the best path for me to use.
Unfortunately I'm having problems
