I have just checked and I can connect from a Win 10 computer via Explorer and my smb.conf is very similar to yours. I wonder if this down to Apparmor ? First thing I do when installing Debian now is to 'apt purge

Ices Spawing Zombie Perl Scripts - Again
So, I finally had some time to go through my scripts and after some poking and fixing I discovered that there is nothing wrong with my Perl script. It may be ugly and inefficient but it gets the job done and closes without throwing errors when run thru perl outside of ices. However, ices continues to produce the defunct processes, a listing of ices and icecast2 related material from ps is

smbclient broken after update
Since a bit more than a year I run a Samba4 AD server on a Debian testing box. During that period I did update and dist-update the box about twice a week, and also did update and recompile Sambe, i.e. Samba and Debian Jessie are on their latest stage. I use Bind 9.9.3 as name server, which works absolutely smooth. But two days ago something got broken, and I am totally clueless, what went

'deadtime' in Samba 3.0.13
Hi, I currently have deadtime = 15 in my smb.conf. This featured worked good to disconnect clients that have been idle for > 15 minutes in the past. With the 3.0.13 version, it seems to do nothing. As in, it just keeps the user connected indefinitely. Here is what I see when no one is currently at the office and everyone is logged off their computer. Thanks [root@spicy p]#

Internet explorer not authenticating properly
Hi all, We are having a an ongoing problem with out NTLM authentication on out squid system. The problem tends to arise when users change their passwords. I have read a KB article that says that DC's will still continue to authenticate Old password for an hour or so after the password is changed. But I think it is between IE and winbindd that is the problem. Below is a trace at debug

tx_fax not getting entire fax
Steve, I am trying to get tx_fax to work. I am using a TDM2401E card. I have a 3 page fax and I only receive the first page on every attempt. I think I have enabled debug output below. Can you tell me what the problem might be? I am using snapshot from oct 26. asterisk 1.2.13 and libtiff 3.6.1-12 from redat/centos 4.4. Adjust disk image migration (NBD)
Hi all, As I am doing some tests with qemu, I realized that the way it does 'migrate -i tcp:DEST:444' is not the same as 'libvirt migrate --copy-storage-inc'. Basically qemu uses the same stream as RAM migration and libvirt takes advantage of NBD transfer. With virsh migrate-setspeed I observed that one can only control the transfer throughput of RAM, but not disk

conflicting domain portions are not supported for NETLOGON calls
I'm seeing this error in my log file under samba-3.0beta3. "The conflicting domain portions are not supported for NETLOGON calls." I have created a unix/samba user testuser and a unix group pwruser. The testuser's primary group is pwruser. Next I mapped the ntgroup to pwruser with: "net groupmap modify ntgroup="Power Users" unixgroup=pwruser" and net
