Domain member, security = ADS|domain and trusts with NT4
I presently have a Samba server (3.0.21b) set up as a member server in an NT4 domain (with a real Windows NT4 PDC). We are migrating to an Active Directory domain (with a real Windows 2003 domain controller). We have set up a two-way trust between the old NT4 domain "CLUNKY" and the new ADS domain "SLEEK" (aka sleek.local). The Samba server is a member of the CLUNKY domain

LMTP error
Hi, I've recently switched to LMTP as I'm now using mdbox. However since switching, mails sent to the root account do not get delivered due to the following error: May 1 18:20:17 Server1 postfix/lmtp[13019]: CAEE91F851: to=<root at test.com>, relay=mail.test.com[private/dovecot-lmtp], delay=1097, delays=1096/0.45/0.43/0.46, dsn=4.3.0, status=deferred (host

Modular Xen
It seems to me that Xen is full of stuff that aren''t beneficial for everybody, this includes NUMA, ACM and other stuff that certain companies try to introduce... In a better world, the Xen binary would have been more sleek and fast, and those extra features should be loaded via stating a Module boot line in Grub. This way, testing would be easy and it''s more elegant than using a

Variance-covariance by factor
Dear all, I have a data frame with one factor and four numeric variables and wish to obtain the var-cor matrix separately by factor. I tried by() and sapply() but getting nowhere. I understand this can be done by subsetting the dataframe, but there should have some sleek ways of doing it. Here is a simulated dataframe; s <- rep(c("A","B","C"), c(25,22,18)) d

Replication - what am I doing wrong?
Hi, I'm having issues getting replication working, and I'm not also not having much luck finding help on it. So I'm wondering... am I not asking the right questions? Or am I not providing enough information... or do we just not know how this aspect of the technology works? If it's the former, then any pointers on what questions to ask or information to provide would be very

Replication on v2.2.6 - I'm stuck (again)
Hi, I'm trying to get Dovecot replication working between two servers. I didn't have much luck on v2.1.3, so after receiving advice from the list I have upgraded to v2.2.6. I now get the error: Oct 30 11:50:16 server1 dovecot: doveadm(mark): Error: user mark: Auth PASS lookup failed Oct 30 11:50:16 server2 dovecot: doveadm(mark): Error: sync: /var/run/dovecot/auth-userdb: passdb lookup

Re: Re: XAPI on debian - sr-create issue
You''re right scout the last line. Out looks like xapi is waiting on tapdisk to plug a key into xenstore. Perhaps a udev rule problem? Perhaps someone who knows more about tapdisk than I well be able to diagnose this tomorrow. Mike Sent from Samsung tablet Sébastien RICCIO <sr@swisscenter.com> wrote: Of course, here it is attached. [LLVMdev] Source-to-Source transformations
Dear LLVM Members, I have started using LLVM for my project two weeks ago and I would be grateful if you could give me some information for writing a source-to-source transformation pass. More specifically, I want to apply a source-level transformation is some functions of my input program in order to create work chunks. For example, given the following function: void foo() {

I have a long running webserver, runs a bunch of mostly php+postgresql stuff, mostly hobby sites (clubs and local scout troops and such). has latest updates to php 5.2.10-xx but I want to install something thats insisting on php53. If I try and yum install php53, it says it conflicts with php-5.2.10 ... ok, do I remove the old PHP and install

Restrict access to [homes] share
G'day, I'd like to know how to restrict access to the [homes] share. Currently, each user is able to read/write to his/her own share, and by typing \\machine\anotheruser can open another user's share and read/write there too. I would like to restrict access so that a user can only read/write to their own share only. Here is some of the relevant config: [global] workgroup = ASDF

fwd on busy when calling multiple extensions at once
Hi, I am setting up a dispatch center where will have 4 call takers, all with Polycom IP 600 Sip phones. Each phone will be setup with 6 extensions each. When a new call comes in, the first extension on all the phones will ring. This works fine, the problem is when one of the dispatchers is already using her first extension and another call comes in. What happens now is that the remaining 3

[HELP] Mongrel Needs a Patch Maven
Hey folks, I''m falling behind in my Mongrel duties and seriously need to recruit an enterprising individual to take on the patch queue and help push out a new release with some minor fixes. The goal would be to just get patches that are currently languishing, pull them together, put them in the source, write some tests to try them, and then one slight design change. If this works out

Help scoring a matrix of item responses
Hi All. I'm new to R and trying to learn the data manipulation routines. At the moment, this is the one that has me stumped. Imagine n test takers provide responses to k multiple choice items. The result is a (n+1) x k matrix of responses where the first row of the matrix is a correct answer key. How could you transform the raw item responses into 1s (correct response) and 0s (incorrect

Is that wifi phone available? If yes how much and when? I am looking to purchase a large quantity of wifi phones. I have a few questions on making calls with these phones and how the accounting of the calls would go. Thanks.
