Hi, I need to upgrade Python to at least 2.3.5, (but 2.4.3 would probably be better), to run Zope & Plone. Is it possible to replace the current version without breaking anything? or should I run two versions in parallel? What's the best way to go about doing this? I accidentally enabled a repo, so my automatic yum upgrade installed a bunch of stuff and possibly broke yum. Is it possible to reverse this? Follow is the yum log of what got installed. I'm installing a new VPS with centos4 64bit, and can't find any python24 package! python.org pyvault doesn't support 64 bit architectures, and atrpms don't make python24 packages anymore.
